The team are on the coach to St. Andrews for the FA Cup Sixth Round Replay. The friction between Fletch and Sean still exists, and Luis hasn't said much in regards to the game, leading John to ask Ian for his input. Jerry meets Karren Brady in reception, and is soon joined by Lynda and Mica. Julie and Kelly are travelling to the game in Fletch's Porsche, and Kelly assures her friend that she definitely has Fletch's permission to drive it.

Luis tells Leon that Jimmy Russell's calf strain may see him off the pitch, in that case he will bring Leon on. Ian cuts in, telling Luis with it being a big game changing some things would be beneficial, firstly dropping Sean and playing an extra defender. Although Luis believes he plays his best behind Fletch and Sean, he gives into Coates when Ian feels he is prioritising his planned move to Spain than taking the team to Wembley.

Kelly and Julie are shocked to come out of the garage to see Fletch's Porsche being sped off, and dashing to a parked police car they request help from the two officers inside. However, the officers don't believe their story about Fletch’s car let alone Kelly being his girlfriend and think they are out to get a free lift to the game. Luis takes a look at the St. Andrews pitch, and Lynda calls to him from the stands. She asks where they sit with his move back to Real Betis, and Luis says if they win tonight he is definitely staying for Wembley.

As they take in their predicament, Kelly is forced to come clean to Julie that she didn't have Fletch's permission to take his car, hoping he would travel back with them instead of on the coach. In the Away dressing room, Coates informs Sean he is being rested tonight. Julie and Kelly manage to hitch a lift halfway from a lorry driver, and plan to get a taxi from the Corley Services on the M6. Ian is taking over again in the dressing room and has to be cut down by Luis as the lads prepare to go out.

Fletch takes The Dragons one-up during the first half. At half time there is a nasty spat between Luis and Coates when Coates tries to take over again. Luckily John is on hand to keep the players on the right track and not be distracted. Sean congratulates Fletch on his goal, and Fletch says he hopes Sean gets on the pitch. Kelly and Julie get their taxi, but are still not at the game when the fare goes past the amount of money they have between them.

Birmingham score through a penalty and the teams are drawing 1-1 which still stands as the final whistle goes. As the team sit and huddle on the pitch, Luis makes it clear to the interfering Coates that he is the one in charge - alone, and John even has to tell Ian to leave it. Luis brings Sean on in place of Linger and Leon is also on. John's leg is giving him trouble and he orders Trudi to inject a painkiller into it. With just seconds of extra time left, Luis scores the goal which takes Harchester through to their first semi finals.

Notes:

·          The Best: All of the location filming at St Andrews. The loud, over-excited greeting Mica gives Karren Brady in reception. Kelly and Julie’s travelling dilemmas – through to them making a quick getaway from the taxi, but being nice girls, leave the driver all the money they had left.

Quotes: Kelly, celebrating Fletch’s goal as they travel in the lorry: "Fantastic Fletch scored. He's my boyfriend you know"  Lorry driver: "Oh yeah? And Posh Spice is gonna dump David Beckham for me!".

·          Additional Info: Harchester and Birmingham drew 1-1 at the first meeting at Addison Road. Karren Brady makes another DT appearance when Harchester visit St Andrews again, albeit with different owner and managerial staff, in 6.19 (279: More Than A Game).

What Was The Score?: A corner from Linger leads to a header from Fletch which is just wide. He makes up for it four minutes from half time by scoring. John Black unintentionally causes a penalty to be awarded to Birmingham, and Paul Furlong scores. Extra time sees the two teams separated when Luis scores and Harchester win 2-1.

·          Soundtrack: Tamperer: "Feel It",  Oasis: "Don't Go Away".
