When Dean Boyle takes off from
Harchester, Tony Boyle knows he will
find him at Goodison Park on the day of the Mersey Derby. After persuading him to come
back and fight for his £30M claim for the club, Tony and Dean are picked up
by the press celebrating as Wayne Rooney scores, which damages their image of
having Harchester's best interests at heart. The two come up with a plan to
show they were scouting for Rooney and send Everton's Vice-Chairman Bill
Kenwright an offer. Matt Webster usurps them
however, by organising an interview with Bill on Sky Sports, where Kenwright
makes it clear Rooney will be going nowhere.
Bill Kenwright's appearance in his real-life role with
Everton followed an acting appearance he made five years earlier, as Pat Gregory, a contact of Jerry Block's from
Athletic Bilbao.
