Don Barker's new boss in his Director of Football role at West Ham. As if the Play Off final isn't stressful enough, Don annoys him by being late to the Millennium Stadium where he is supposed to be representing the club. When Fletch's body is discovered in the VIP car park, the West Ham team co-ordinator brings the vehicle records to the Rep. They learn that the car Fletch's body was found in is a West Ham pool car being driven by Barker, which the Rep informs the police.

Approached by Dean on Barker's orders after being caught on CCTV rioting with others as Harchester played Southampton. Marquess and his sidekick, Keith Edwards, are instructed to lead a gang who will cause the abandoning of the upcoming Champions League away match to Lazio, so Harchester will be awarded the points, otherwise Dean will hand the CCTV tapes to the police. After disguising as Lazio fans and succeeding in their 'mission', Keith starts a brawl with a group of real Lazio fans and he and Marquess are arrested. When the policeman tells them the club plans to ban any rioters from travelling abroad to matches, Marquess and Keith believe Dean has betrayed them. Upon arriving home, they abduct Deano and beat him up, leaving him in a coma.
