Katrin Hahn (Sandra Darnell) 2005-2006 Duration: EP: 360, 362, 369 | SE: 9.4, 9.6, 9.13 Katrin is the formidable wife of international coach Felix Hahn, though for most of his career while Felix has managed in Sweden and The Netherlands, Katrin has stayed in their native Germany raising their two young sons. That is not to say that she is unaware of her husband's philandering ways, and after seeing off several of Felix's conquests, she knows there is a problem with Ashleigh King, a fitness coach Felix spent a great deal of time with while at PSV Eindhoven. When Casper Rose's digging into Ashleigh's background uncovers her connection to Felix, Cass decides on appointing Felix as the new manager of the club he has secretly bought, Harchester United, knowing he will bring Ashleigh with him on his coaching team. Ashleigh gets a surprise when, hearing Felix has moved into a house at the Barrons, has the door opened by Katrin, showing Ash this is the family home with the children present. Katrin arranges a girls' night for the Harchester women to get to know each other, and tells of how she ran a book club for the wives at Leverkusen but thought they could start with a movie - Fatal Attraction. Katrin gives her take on the film's topic that cheating is wrong whilst keeping her glance firmly on Ashleigh who is about to come clean when Amy Kerrigan is brought to tears in admitting she has slept with Felix. After pouring Felix's expensive wine collection down the sink and smashing one of his wine bottles to the floor, the two have a violent row as Ashleigh comforts one of their young sons who comes out scared. During the first half of the game against Arsenal, Ashleigh is called away to find Katrin waiting. Katrin lets Ashleigh know she is aware of the affair she is having with her husband, but yet Felix loves her, unlike the others. She adds that she is pregnant and Ashleigh was wrong to believe Felix when he told her they no longer slept together. When Katrin tells Ashleigh she's going home and can have Felix, she gives her the ultimate parting shot of "Goodbye. In German that means till I see you again... but I hope I never do. I will have the termination and you will always know it was because of you!". Things look bleak for Felix when, on a mission from the owner to force Felix out of Harchester, Amy fakes a physical attack which is leaked to the press. Chloe comes to his rescue and says they are going to the airport to meet Katrin, overseeing the Hahn's big public interview with Kay Burley. Katrin confesses the real reason she and Felix are divorcing is because of Amy, who admitted their affair at the wives’ party. Felix and Katrin think the interview went well, until they see that Amy has made a police statement. Katrin tells Felix she is going to have to go home for the children. Felix is ultimately cleared, and wants Ashleigh to join him in his next adventure, but she tells him things have changed and he leaves alone.
