His 30+ acting credits include his famous regular role Eric Catchpole in "Lovejoy" for 54 episodes between 1986-1994, alongside "Johnny Jarvis" for 2 episodes (1983), Mr Knowles in "Grange Hill" for 7 episodes (1983-84), Kevin in "Stay Lucky" for 3 episodes (1989), "Noah's Ark" for 4 episodes (1997), Louie in "Starting Out" for 8 episodes (1999), and two "Doctor Who" projects; Deadbeat in the original series for 3 episodes (1988-89) and "The Monthly Adventures" (2020)

 

His writing credits began in the 90's with 4 episodes of The Bill (1998-99), 2 episodes of "Casualty" (2000-01), 2 episodes of "Holby City" (2001 & 05) and "Doctors" for 2 episodes in 2004 & 06, also directing 6 episodes in 2007-08.

 

His further directing credits include 40 episodes of "EastEnders" across 2000-04 (producing the show for 8 episodes in 04), 4 episodes of "Coronation Street" (2001), 2 episodes of "Crossroads" (2002), 3 episodes of "The Courtroom" (2004), 10 episodes of "The Royal Today" (2008), 5 episodes of "Hollyoaks" (2015), "Liquid Soap" which he also produced, and "Nurses Who Kill" for 9 episodes (2016-17).
