A Game Of Two Halves

Fletch is furious after catching Robbie and Tash together, but will Jamie rumble them when he arrives home from the States earlier than expected?

Tash awakes to the call of the baby. She suddenly realizes that if the baby has been brought back then someone must have seen her and Robbie together. Jeff is furious, asking what people are going to think about Robbie Walsh. He explains how it is wrong. She then realizes he is talking about the picture of Robbie with the baby though and not the two sleeping together. She asks about last night when he brought Hope back and he tells her that he didn't. Fletch has left his house and met Robbie. Fletch punches Robbie and sends him to the ground. Phil explains to Jacqui how he is not looking forward to today as he has to sack Patrick. Tash goes round to see Abi to find out that it wasn't her but Fletch that took Hope back round to her house. She admits everything to Abi. Fletch and Robbie are both talking as well. Robbie explains how it was a one off and he should have said no. He said that she was offering it to him on a plate and he couldn't resist. He explains that she made a move on him. Tash explains to Abi that she thinks that it's serious and they both love each other a lot. Fletch is not happy and thinks that Tash is a slag. Robbie explains that it'll never happen again and asks what he'll do, Fletch though, storms off.

Meanwhile, Stuart goes to see Patrick and is told that he can choose the team and tactics for the upcoming big game against Arsenal. Jacqui bumps into
Tara and fires her on the spot because she shoed Phil the tape. Stuart in the dressing room explains ho he wants to try five in midfield.

Tash, while still at Abi's is phoning Robbie but she will not pick up. During a press conference, Patrick tells the journalists that usually blame should be on the managers door step when a team get bad results but explains how it is hard for him to do his job when he has a Chairman making decisions over his head. He decides though, to try and save his job and explains that he is partially to blame because he has made some mistakes. He tells the journalists that maybe he has been being to kind on Stuart Naysmith and maybe he isn't up to the coaching job at the moment. He tells the journalists that he can join them for training. Phil asks Sandra to call for Patrick. Patrick sneakily asks the journalists to join him. Phil realizes that he cannot sack the manager while the journalists are in the room, Patrick has bought some time.

In the changing room
Tara is filming for the Arsenal game. Nikki comes in and Tara explains how Jacqui has fired her. Nikki tells Jacqui that she should talk to Phil and he may not get the sack. Robbie explains to Tash that it's all sorted, at the same time Patrick explains to Jacqui that he has bought some time. Patrick bumps into Jeff and asks why he told Phil that he was part of the consortium. Jeff explains that he did it because he ruined one of the careers of his players. Tara is speaking to Phil about getting her job back and Jacqui walks in. Phil explains there must be some mistake as she cannot sack Tara. Jacqui is not happy and explains how she is the kind of girl who will sleep her way to the top. Jacqui is obviously jealous and storms out. Jacqui needs a way to get back on Phil's good side, so that night, she undresses wearing only her coat. She enters Phil's office and says she's sorry, and undresses in front of him. She tries to persuade Phil not to sack Patrick, and in the end persuades him to only to sack Patrick if they lose or draw the Arsenal game. If they win his job is safe.

At The Grange, when Ryan finds out he is dropped because his Dad is not picking the formation he is not happy. And when he finds out he is only at the club because Stuart is playing some of his wages, he is even more displeased. Tash goes to see Robbie asking him why he is avoiding her. Fletch see's and calls her a slapper. Tash finds out that Robbie had told Fletch it was a one off and that Tash was up for it and she runs off crying. Abi lays into Fletch explaining how it's been going on for months. Jacqui goes to see Patrick and explains to him that they must beat Arsenal for him to keep his job. Patrick is not very pleased as it's Arsenal Harchester are playing. Fletch is once again not happy with Robbie and tells him that he will be handing in a transfer request before Jamie gets back in three weeks. Robbie agrees. Fletch goes to see Abi and they make up, and spend the night together.

It's match day and Arsenal have arrived in Harchester. Jeff tells Phil that he has to go to the airport to pick up Ruud Hullit so he cannot stay for the game. Arsenal score the first goal but thankfully it is called offside, Harchester are let off. Jacqui leaves the match early as she cannot stand to watch, meanwhile
Tara is drunk and is going through Jacqui's things. Jacqui catches her. In the dressing room, Patrick brings on Ryan Naysmith for Robbie Walsh. Jacqui tells Tara that she has ample evidence for firing her now.

Robbie, after going home at half time, goes to see Tash. He apologies but Tash doesn't take it. He tells her that he loves her, and they end up kissing again. It is still 0-0 in the match and Harchester are now on top. Marcel ends up scoring a beautiful free-kick to bring Harchester into the lead. The match ends up finishing 1-0. Meanwhile, Jeff is still waiting for Hullit. Back at The Barons, Robbie and Walsh are still at it.
Tara, realizing she has left something, goes back upstairs to hear Patrick and Jacqui being rather friendly. Patrick reiterates how he owns Jacqui. At The Barons Jeff is pulling in with Jamie Parker who has been picked up from the airport! Tash hears a car door, and suspecting it being her Dad tells Robbie to hide. Robbie cannot get out the back door so he runs and hides behind the door which Jamie opens. He's back!
