Tara tells Jacqui she is to return her presenting duties to her, or Phil will be hearing about she and Patrick. Jacqui has more to worry about when Phil suggests sacking Tara as a consequence of HUTV's low subscription figures. Jacqui comes up with a solution to keep Phil on side by creating a feature on him. Fletch and Ryan feel the brunt of Patrick's blame for their red cards at the Third Round, and with the inconsistent Robbie skip an extra afternoon's training for the dog track.

Abi first learns of Fletch's contract worries when Marcel informs her. Fletch, Ryan and Robbie take two girls they met at the racing track onto the snooker hall, where a tipsy Fletch pulls himself away from kissing one of the girls, knowing he is now married. Two men pick a fight with Ryan when they see him at the bar, accusing him of having no respect for the man run over. When Ryan has to collect his wallet from the club, he discovers Tara working late on the Phil project, and tying her hands with a scarf, takes Tara's camera and makes her admit she was driving.

It's time for the 'Three Musketeers’ to face Patrick at training; he tells Ryan he will be offloading him as soon as possible and puts he and Fletch in the reserves for Walsall. Not before fining they and Robbie a month’s wages for disobedience and brawling in a bar, which has made the paper. Tara threatens to tell the police she was under duress when Ryan made her say she was driving.

Abi gets to the bottom of Fletch's money woes, when he shows her a tax bill he's received, when he hasn’t saved or has any pensions. Stuart can't believe Ryan has got himself kicked out of the club after he put his job on the line to get him here, and tells Ryan he is no son of his. Patrick saves the worst for Robbie - he's sending him on loan to Brighton & Hove Albion.
