About Last Night

Curtis finds out who his friends are after being accused of rape. Did he do it? Patrick has a tape of the entire incident, but before showing the police, he uses it to make Phil look bad.

It’s night time in Harchester and Phil Wallis is in the bar at The Grange with a beautiful women. Meanwhile, Nikki is upstairs checking that all the boys are in their rooms, not drinking and without any girls. Back in the bar, Phil and the brown haired girl are exchanging tongues, as this happens; Phil feels that he has to go. The girl tells Phil that her friend Jade has made other plans. Nikki is still on the prowl upstairs and comes to Curtis’ room where she suspects something. While all this is going on Phil has been pulled into the lift and begins to once again exchange tongues with the girl. A bit later, as Nikki is organizing wake up times, the lift opens and a beautiful blonde comes out the lift, crying and holding her ripped clothes together. Nikki tries to see if she’s alright but the girl just runs off.

It’s the next day and the boys are getting changed for the match against Spurs. Fletch asks Curtis if he shagged the blonde haired girl, which was a bet. He tells them he did but Fletch asks for proof. Curtis pulls off his shirt and scratch marks are shown down his shoulder. Tottenham arrived at the stadium and the match is soon underway. While Patrick Doyle is giving out his team talk two police officers storm in asking for Curtis Alexander. They arrest him on the spot for rape.

The bell rings for the match but the boys are not up for the match. They are obviously in shock about what has just happens. Phil explains to Jeff that he is worried sick, he is going to be questioned and he doesn’t want Jacqui to find out that he was kissing in the lift with another woman, the friend of the girl who was raped. Phil doesn’t think that anyone has seen him but Jeff explains that there is a camera in the lift.

Curtis is being questioned and denies all rape allegations. He tells the police that the woman was well up for sex. While this is happening, Phil has gone back down to the hotel to get the video tape. Back at the station Curtis explains that he was the one confronted, but Jade says the exact opposite and tells the police that Curtis was the one after her. Jade explains that Curtis was to rough and she wanted to escape his grasp. She tells the police she couldn’t escape him so she scratched him on the left shoulder. Curtis’ story is slightly different. He explains that they were both rough with each other, and Jade, in a playful way lent out and scratched him. The police question him on Jades ripped shirt, Curtis though, doesn’t have a clue how it ripped.

The half time whistle blows at The Dragon’s Lair and Harchester are 1-0 down. The guys are still obviously worried about Curtis. The police are still questioning Curtis and they ask him what happened after Nikki had knocked. He explains that he asked Jade to leave and she didn’t take it in the best way but left anyway – and when she had left her shirt was intact. The police are back questioning Jade and they ask her why she didn’t cry out when Miss Peggs knocked if she was in so much distress. She tells the police that she was just too scared. She then explains how Curtis acted like nothing had happened and just told her to get out the room. She explains that she walked out crying and she was seen by a girl.

Back at The Dragon’s Lair, Karl Fletcher equalizes for The Dragons to make it 1-1. The match finishes 1-1. The police are back at the stadium after the match to question the players and staff. While Fletch is being interviewed, by mistake, he mentions the bet, which makes rape more suspicious. Ryan tells the police that Curtis had paid him money to actually stay away from the room, the other boys are furious when hearing Ryan has said this.

While Phil is being interviewed he explains how he called the girl, Becki, a cab, but does not show the video tape he has kept. Nikki tells the police that Curtis had seemed slightly on edge when she was had knocked.

Back at the station, Curtis has been told he is allowed out on bail. Curtis goes to see Nikki but she makes it seem like she actually thinks Curtis had committed the rape. Nikki tells Curtis to leave the house.

It’s the next day and Nikki is being asked even more questioned about the rape incident. She tells the police that she hadn’t seen anyone but then when told she was breaking the law lying she cracks and explains how she saw a girl crying with a ripped shirt.

Jacqui after hearing all the news surrounding Curtis goes back to see Phil to help him out. Curtis joins in the team training, but he is not on form. He is not being passed the ball and is getting very frustrated. He is finally brought down by Ryan who makes a remark about him ‘raping the girl’, Patrick sends Curtis to go and get changed. Patrick tells
Tara that she should do a HUTV compilation of Curtis’ best moments. While sorting through the videos, she ends up putting one in, and it just shows an old lady in a lift. Meanwhile, Jacqui confronts Patrick to ask if this Jade was his doing. She explains that she is not going to let him ruin another player’s life, but Patrick explains that this was not his doing and it was just luck.

Nikki, who has gone to see Curtis, is told he has been taken away yet again by the police. As she goes into the lift, she looks up to realize that there is a camera in the lift. Back at Harcheser United, she tells
Tara to put the video on. Shocked, they find Phil and a girl kissing in the lift, Jacqui walks in but she doesn’t realize what the two girls are laughing at. Straight after, it shows Jade Riley, getting into the lift, all clothes intact, ripping them. Back at the station, Curtis is charged with rape. Nikki and Tara both tell Phil to watch the tape. They persuade him to take it to the police. Curtis is told he is free to go. As Phil and Nikki take Curtis home, Phil slips out that he had the tape all along. Curtis is furious, and storms off alone.
