Fletch is not thrilled with Abi’s plan to bring Curtis and the team together with a dinner party, and when Tash suggests a theme, is shocked to find his downstairs decorated in a Moroccan style. At the same time, HUTV are televising the Harchester fans forum, with Phil, Patrick and Curtis, who shows he is in no mood to forgive the chairman. Curtis makes it clear that the only person at the club he felt supported by was Patrick. Fletch sets up a game of Truth or Dare to liven the night, and when Robbie can't reveal who the married woman he is having an affair with is, Tash makes a hasty exit, adding to make sure Robbie gets enough sleep before tomorrow's shoot. The discovery that Robbie has a hair gel advert is too much for Fletch and the lads, who have just the right dare for Robbie!

After Patrick drops the idea that signing Mendoza with all his injuries was the chairman's decision, the forum descends into chaos, with it put to Phil if he really cared about the club he would resign. Phil confronts Patrick on how he stitched him up there, adding to Jacqui he won't be seen as the football fan who won the lottery and things are going to change. The next morning Tash gets a shock when she sees Robbie’s 'dare' -  a purple dye streak through his hair! Phil finds a still hungover Tara in his office, where she presents him with the tape of Mendoza's accusations against Patrick, feeling he deserved to see them. Jacqui plays down her already knowing of the tape with how she thought it was too damaging to air, to which Phil tells her Patrick isn't their friend.

Unable to get the dye out in time, Tash mastermind's pitching the style to the advert's PR woman as Robbie's commitment to the club that will set a trend. Jeff is furious to learn what Patrick did with Mendoza, and they plan on contacting Trevor the physio. The advert’s photographer spots Robbie hold Hope and says that is the money shot. Though he and Tash are apprehensive, they are told it is too good to miss. Jeff brings Tash news that Jamie's recovery has progressed slower, and he's staying in L.A for another month. She can't believe it and makes plans to travel out there to see him. Jacqui tells Patrick if Phil talks to Trevor it will come out that she knew what Patrick did to Mendoza, which prompts Doyle into phoning Trevor, and offering a job at a French club for his silence.

When Trevor backs up Patrick, Phil can't understand why Patrick would want to injure one of his own players. Jeff shares with him that Patrick was in the consortium to buy the club before Phil got in, and Phil knows Patrick is trying to take the club from him. Patrick doesn't deny it, but claims it's because he loves the club. Phil says there has to be trust between a manager and chairman and thinks it is time they parted company. Karl wants his own time with Abi and when she has been left with Hope, he offers to take her back home. Inside the Parker's, Fletch calls for Tash, and looking in the bedroom, sees Robbie and Tash in bed together! Patrick turns sinister with Jacqui, reminding her he has proof of her bet with the necklace, but she nothing of his. Patrick tells Jacqui she will stop Phil sacking him, and how he now owns Jacqui who will do whatever he wants!
