What's the best thing about being on Dream Team?  Working on a show that was fast paced and fun. The cast and crew were great people too.

Were you a fan of Dream Team before you joined?  I watched it on and off.

What was the best thing about your character?  I liked Claudia's attitude to life. She believed anything was possible. I disliked her "poor little rich girl" tantrums.

Are you anything like your character?  We look alike!! Our attitude to life, I guess. However, I don't treat people like she did. And my father isn't a millionaire!

What did you think to your characters clothes?  I think she was a little tarty. Everything was tight. I prefer more classic pieces.

What did your friends and family think to your role?  My family lives in Oz but have seen tapes of the show. My mum couldn't believe how bitchy I was. My dad didn't like the revealing clothes but loves football and enjoyed the show. My friends enjoyed it.

Do you get recognised in the street for your role?  Not as much anymore. I guess people forget when they haven't seen you for a while. There are some die hard fans who keep sending me letters, which I appreciate. There is also one, who got hold of my e-mail and writes every now and again.

What scene did you most hate or enjoy fliming?  Hated filming all the fight scenes with Linda Block as she is a good friend and was quite hard to be horrible to her. Enjoyed filming scenes with Stefan Dennis. He is a great actor who gave me great tips.

Did you do any research for your role?  Yes. I didn't know much about working in a football club so got to do some voluntary work at a club. Wasn't as glamorous, let me tell you! Also, hung out with a friend whose father is one of the richest men in the UK. She gave me a great insight into her lifestyle.

Have you ever met any real footballer's?  Quite a few. A couple of the Chelsea players lived in my building so got to meet them. They have since moved out as they have moved clubs. Ferrer and Melchiot (not sure of spelling). Also, got to meet my favourite player, Zola.

What football team do you support and why?  Chelsea. I live in Chelsea and thought it was the right thing to do. I also support AC Milan. They have just scouted my nephew, who went there for a camp. He is underage though so they are keeping an eye on him while he finishes his schooling. Any team that wants my family definitely has my support!

Did you ever play football at school?  Believe it or not I played in Oz for Sydney Olympic. I was pretty good but as I was a track athlete for my school had to give it up because I kept getting kicked in the shins. Girls can play dirty!

Did you ever get to train with the boys??  No. They never let us! Also, as we had make-up and costume on so we weren't allowed to.

Is there any behind the scenes gossip you can share with us?  All I can say is that some people hooked up during the show. Can't name names though as it is not my place to say.

What do you do in your free time?  What free time??? I don't have much of that these days. But if I did I would catch up with friends and read more books!

Where is your home town?  Born in Korinth, Greece but grew up in Sydney Australia with my father and brother who were both football-mad. My father is Greek, and my mother is Italian. I quickly learned how to cook Greek food. I love my mum's Greek cooking. 'She makes yemesta, tomatoes stuffed with rice and peppers and herbs, that are just divine! I now live in Chelsea, London. My only complaint about living in Chelsea is that it has no decent Greek restaurants.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?  I live by the Buddhist principles of life which are to live for today. I hope that in 10 years I am happy and healthy and everything else is a bonus! What I would really like is to appear in a remake of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? Either in the Bette Davis part or the Joan Crawford part, I'm not fussy. I'm a bit young, but it's incredible what you can do with make-up.

What other jobs have you done appart from acting??    I worked in a nightclub when I was studying acting in LA. I speak fluent Greek and decent Japanese, having left Sydney when I was 17 to live in Japan. I then moved to America, and then to Dubai, where I worked for nine months as a flight attendant on the Emirates airline. I had a Muslim boyfriend at the time. It was a good lesson in living by the laws of the country you happen to be in, I had to study the Koran, and learn not to serve things with my left hand, which is considered an insult because it is the wiping hand. And when talking to a man and his wife, the custom there is not to address the wife at all, which I found pretty tough.

Who is your ideal co-star?   On Dream Team it was Stefan Dennis. Otherwise, I would love to be in a film with Kevin Spacey.

Which animal do you resemble and why?  I would like to be like a horse. Big, strong and beautiful. However, I think I am more like a cat, independent and playful. Hard one to answer really.

If you could appear in a reality TV show, which would it be and why?  None. I don't like them.

If you were to appear on the front page of The Sun this weekend, what would the headline be?  Hope I never am in the Sun! Most front-page articles are negative. Unless it was because I won an Oscar and my boob fell out of my dress or something!

Now that you have left Dream Team.... What have you been doing since your departure?  Quite a bit. A couple of episodes of Mile High, some commercials and a film with Paul Ellis called Stolen. At the moment working on a project with the American author, JT Leroy. Been in LA and San Franscisco for the last month. Just got back. Very exciting.

If you got the opportunity to go back to Dream Team, would you return for a long term or short term role??  I think one series was enough. However, I did enjoy Mile High and would like to return to that maybe.

Do you think your character could have continued for another season?  Maybe. It would have been interesting to have seen what she would have done with the club. However, killing her off was probably best.

Where you pleased with the way your character was portrayed?  I was very happy with the character. The writers really looked after me in that department. She had some great stories. I can't complain.

Were you pleased with the exit your character was given?  Yes. Definitely. What better way to go! However, I wish I was the only one as I had to share that with so many others!!!

Do you keep in touch with any of the cast?  Angela Saunders is one of my closest friends now. I keep in touch with Nina and Ali King. Casper, who played Andre is a good friend. Stefan has moved back to Oz but we stay in touch. Neil Newbon is a friend too even though we didn't work together. I went on holiday with Frances Ruffelle who played Dawn recently too. Ray, who played Jeff Stein I see occasionally too.

What other Dream Team character would you have liked to played?  Linda Block. I loved her character. Ali is a superb actress and did a fab job.

Have you continued to watch Dream Team since your departure?  I did for a while then most of the characters I knew left so don't watch it anymore.

Do you ever visit the harchester.net forums?  I did a couple of times but haven't since I left as people probably have forgotten me by now.

Tell us a joke.  I don't know many clean ones. A horse walks into a pub and the bartender says "Why the long face".
