How did you get the role of Chloe Tyler? I met producer Rachel Flowerday at a dinner and she said that they were holding auditions for new characters on DreamTeam.... We kept in contact and when they auditioned 2 months later I went and got the job!
Had you watched Dream Team before getting the role? No I'd never even heard of Dt..funny huh..now I can't imagine my life without it!
What are the best attributes of your character? Chloe's best attributes would have to be her strength and determination. She's a woman in a man's world!! She is a hard worker and will do anything for her clients. She changes her personality based on her clients vunerability.
What are the worst attributes of your character? I believe Chloe's worst attributes to be her coldness and lack of compassion at times..She wants it all..and doesn't care who she steps on to get it! She often acts without thinking and therefore regrets her actions but its usually too late.
Is there another character in Dream Team you would like to have played other than Chloe and why? I love Lynda Block!! Ali King did an amazing job as Lynda, no actor could do better.. I loved Lynda's passion, strength and humour! I think Ali King is a brilliant actor and a beautiful human being!
Over all was you pleased with the character of Chloe during season 9 of the show? Yes and No..There was so much I would have liked to have delved deeper into..but I understand that its a once a week show with many characters who all have their own storylines. I was happy with Chloe but I am a perfectionist like her and always think I could have done it better, different somehow.
Was there any storyline that you would have done differently? Hmmmm yes I was sad when Casper was killed and Rob left the show...I never expected that! I also loved having the affair with Dempsey..I wished that we could have explored more of the breakdown of my marriage with Liam and been abit more adventurous with the secret meetings.
What was your favourite storyline/episode? My favouite storyline.. I loved the 1st episode (season 9)..there was so much going on with the introduction of the new characters, the death of the old, and bringing Lynda back.. It was an action packed hour! I also loved filming episode 13 with director Rita, I love working with her!
Do you think you could fit into a full time life style of being a footballers wife? No way!! I am way to independant! I am buliding my own empire!
Can you play football? Yes abit..Last series when we would film at the training ground I would kick off Chloe's heels and kick the ball around..much to the amusement of the boys and the wardrobe department telling me not to get muddy!
Series 10 is going to be the final ever series, how would you wrap up 10 years of a brilliant show? Not knowing the show from the beginning I would not even attempt that.. But perhaps bringing back on alot of the fan's favourites from over the years could be wonderful!
Can you give us any gossip on what's going to happen in Season 10 to Chloe? Nope I'm not allowed! But I can say that it'll be entertaining!
Are you anything like Chloe in real life? Generally I'm not like Chloe at all.. I'm more open and happy! I'm quite silly and love to have fun! I did try and show Chloe to have a heart though..she's not totally evil! I am a hard worker and perfectionist, that Chloe and I have in common...No offence to Duncan, but Liam is not the kind of man I'd be in love with!
What's the funniest thing you have read on the forums about Chloe? That they like her long legs hehehehe and that she is such a manipulative bitch! I love that coz it means I'm doing my job well..that's exactly how I want her to be perceived.
Who are your favourite people to work with? Lynda, Demsey, Casper, Ashleigh, Eugene, Scarlett, Amy, Danny,Gavin, Cindy and of course my husband Liam..there are all great fun to work with.. we had so much last series.. Danny Midwinter in series 10 is a brilliant actor! I love working with him!
What other jobs have you done besides acting and modelling? That's it!! You got it Modelling and Acting and living all over the world having adventures! I do like to write though...and oneday would love to be DOP and Director!!What's harder; modelling or acting? And which do you prefer? Modelling is easy.. you are prop..That said I have had an amazing life as a model, I travelled the world, made great money, had lotsa crazy fun adventures and met some beautiful friends..and learnt alot about myself, other people and what I want with my life! Acting I love..you are part of the creation and your vision and passion is appreciated and encouraged! I love to play different characters..getting down to the psychology and research is so much fun!
What did you do during the summer? I was in La....mmmmm love it there!
What's your favourite movie and why? Ohhhh so many..and it changes all the time! I just saw Michael Gondry's 'Science of Sleep'absolutely loved it! Also love 'Bleu" by Kieslowski....I saw "The Departed" last week that was fantastic!! I love movies so much..its impossible to pick a favourite.. Growing up I watched "Thelma and Louise", "Gone with the Wind" and Hitchcock's "Rebecca" over and over!
What sort of music are you into? Everything..In August I went to The Stones at Twickenham....I was like a 3 year old jumping up and down.
What do you like to do in your spare time? Read, watch movies, hang out with friends.
Have you ever used your celebrity status as a chat up line? "Do you know who I am?!" Huh??? If I ever became I celebrity i would never say that! Ever!
What was the last text you received and who was it from? My brother in Australia..."Julie pick up the phone!"
What's the drunkest you've ever been? Well the DT Series 9 Wrap Party we all got quite drunk..the drunkest I've ever been I cannot disclose hehehee
Where is the strangest place you have ever woken up? On the beach! I spent New Years 2000 on a beach by myself in perth...I had so much fun dancing under the stars watching the fireworks! I woke up early the next morning by a friend who came to check that I was ok!
What attributes do you look for in a guy? Humour definately, he's gotta be funny and intelligent! Independant and a free spirit! Kind and passionate....and he's got to have a good relationship with his mum but not a twisted unhealthy relationship!
Are you single? Yes i most definately am!
Which part of the world do you prefer living in and why? I've lived in so many countries around the world and so it depends..work..love...adventures..but being an Aussie I love living in warmer climates..London can get abit too cold for me during the everlasting winters.
Modelling or Acting? Acting I am passionate about.....modelling is my history
Home and Away or Neighbours? Hmmm good to watch when I missing home just to hear the accents!
England or Australia? Oh that's a difficult one... I love them both!! I have some amazing friends in England...But for me Australia will always come first in my heart!
So what does life hold for you after Dream Team? Time to travel again...LA perhaps.......
