The burger van appeared in 2 episodes of DT in Season 1 (1998).
The latest money-making venture for Warren Masters, he leaves team and flatmate Conor McCarthy with all the work while he chases a passing woman. While he is away, Conor is confronted by Warren's nemesis Doug Hastings, who warns him off his "patch". When Conor questions Doug's rule, he shows him a consequence of crossing him by smashing a container of tomato sauce and manhandles Conor into it. Warren isn't scared when he finds out it was Doug, who he previously 'handled' and narrowly avoided prison on an assault charge.
It backfires on Warren and soon Doug has evicted him from the van and taken it over. Out for revenge, Warren takes a can of petrol to the van at night and is about to set it alight when Conor arrives to stop him. Conor makes Warren see sense that Doug will know it was him, and when Doug appears, the petrol falls over and pours underneath the van. As Warren and Conor walk away, Doug tosses a match from his cigarette to the ground and the van goes up in a fireball.
