Alan Mathews' playing in the DT on-screen UEFA Cup First Round Second Leg comes from his selection in the Shelbourne side as they played Harchester at Tolka Park, for the specially filmed scenes for the episode. He was actually the club's assistant manager at the time, and not in the 2001-02 squad. Mathews is later Shels' manager between 2010-13. |
