The team touches down in Ireland for their UEFA away leg at Shelbourne’s home ground Tolka Park. David is uncomfortable to see Claudia has flown over on Lynda's instructions to help Nikki out. Sam arrives at the club to find the reception desk unmanned and Lynda arguing with a put-out Jamie for not being selected to travel. Sam tears into Zoe for being away from reception, which shocks Lynda who is nursing the early signs of flu. Monday is surprised to see Tash at the hotel, and she has come over to do some sponsorship networking for Danny, but also to clear her mind about Jamie.

The team take time out to explore Dublin, and in a park Danny is approached by Charlie, a young boy who has travelled from Harchester to see the match for his birthday. After getting Danny to sign every bit of merchandise he has on him, Charlie's mom Lisa comes up thinking Danny is a stranger talking to her son. She is embarrassed when Charlie informs her Danny plays for the Dragon's. Danny offers to let Charlie watch he and the team train that afternoon at the stadium, following which Danny spends the rest of the day with he and Lisa. Monday suggests Tash check she and Jamie's bank account to see if any money has gone out, and when she discovers there hasn't, Tash feels she has let Jamie down. Monday responds with how it seems Jamie doesn't appreciate her enough, and he would treat her much better if she were his partner.

Sam has stayed in Harchester to try and make things up with Lynda, who is consumed by flu. Turning up on her doorstep with roses, Lynda threatens to chop the heads off with a large pair of scissors unless Sam goes away. When Nikki tasks Claudia with arranging the team's meal for 3PM and she wrongly tells them 4, David fires Nikki for the team’s schedule being screwed up. Nikki tells Claudia not to admit the truth as Spears would probably fire her too. Sam manages to win Lynda round when he turns up with an Irish themed picnic as they watch the game from home. Jamie won't be sitting at home watching the game, and ropes Peggsy into going on an “expedition” whilst bringing along his appearance fee cheque. Distracted, Peggsy leaves his key in the lock of his front door.

Harchester arrive late at Tolka Park and are unsettled before kick-off. Peggsy is shocked when Jamie takes him to a poker game in the back room of Studs, and Jamie has resigned himself to everyone already believing he is back gambling anyway. When Richie Baker believes he was fouled by Fletch, Andrei knocks Baker to the ground and is red carded for violent conduct. Jamie makes Peggsy put his cheque on the table, and Gary has lost £750. Nikki returns home to find Gary's key invited burglars who ransacked the place. Harchester are awarded a penalty when Danny goes down. Jamie can't help himself and bets ten grand that Fletch will miss, which he wins, but then wants to continue playing.

Spot kicks will now decide who progresses to the next round. Fletch turns down the chance to take a penalty, but Danny requests the chance. Jamie bets all he has left which is ten grand for Danny to bottle it. Danny scores and a crowd invasion on the Tolka Park pitch follows. Inside, Fletch and Danny are both asked for testing samples. Because of this, Danny misses his chance to see Lisa and Charlie. Jamie gets a shock when he finds Tash has returned home to be with him, now knowing he has a real gambling secret to keep from her.
