DT Cameos>> Rodney Marsh
Appearing across Sky Sports coverage in his punditry
role, Rodney informs his fellow Soccer Saturday panel that the woman
"Flaunting herself in the name of Harchester
United" across the screens of the Premier League grounds, is in fact Claudia Irving,
daughter of club owner Sam. Later in the season, he sits alongside host Rob McCaffrey
on "You're On Sky Sports" where they open up the criticism of Karl Fletcher's club
loyalties since the end of his court case for murder. A fired-up Fletch
phones the show, and after giving the club's management a tongue-lashing, and
nearly earning a 'Gong' from Rodney, announces he wants a transfer to Despite saying he thought Fletch was a prat for his antics there, Rodney is at the Lair for Fletch's testimonial two seasons later, playing on the Harchester All Star XI team, with Stuart Naysmith marking him. As the new season gets underway, Harchester's signing of Luke Davenport is the
biggest story, and back on Soccer Saturday Rodney gives his view that he was
shocked Fletch left but Davenport is a bit special. While during the January
transfer window, Rodney finds common ground (for once!) with his co-panelist Frank McLintock on “menace” Viv Wright. |
