Becomes First Team Coach when Hannigan takes over as manager from Felix Hahn. Isn't a fan of Sully, or the team having any light-hearted rapport. When Hannigan disappears, Burns loses all direction for the job, but with Alex's guidance, gives a pretty effective team talk; "Win". Lynda later reveals Burns has quit and taken all of Hannigan's back room staff with him.
