The Harchester United Player Awards is held, in which Young Player of the Year is presented to Gavin, who credits his strong performance this year to his partnership with Miguel. When Tony remarks Gavin is good enough to stand on his own, this leads Gav to question whether Miguel is about to leave Harchester. Miguel states that bigger clubs are always going to be interested in him, so if one in his home country was to come in of course he'd go. Jason is approached by Vince Perry, who believes with his back story Jason could be the perfect face for his car dealership. Tony asks Jason if he can cut in on the approach, and manages to wager him a better deal and taken on as Jason’s agent. Gavin tells Cindi he's dreading that Miguel could possibly leave, and Cindi says she knows just who could persuade Miguel to stay, her old friend Silver.

Jason rocks up at his old workplace in his brand new motor courtesy of Vince, and wants to take Phil and Deano on a test drive. The lads return and are caught by the Tyre Bay Foreman, who sacks Phil and Deano on the spot. Jason feels guilty and allows Phil and Deano to move into his house at the Barrons, and Katy is none-too-impressed that Jason allowed this without consulting her first. Miguel and Silver are getting on like a house on fire, and Miguel walks Silver to her room and they kiss. Katy is annoyed as Phil and Deano act like layabouts in her home, which Jason takes offence to, reminding her he is the one who pays the bills. In revenge, Katy begins acting like a tenant, as Jason only sees her as one. Tony is confused when Miguel tells him the Valencia move isn't right for him, despite they offering £15M. When Silver walks in, informing Miguel she's bringing her stuff over from the Grange, Tony does some digging and confronts Silver by her real name, Debbie Cartwright. We learn she is a former "Page 3 Stunner", but with a lot of friends in the press, Tony knows it went a lot deeper than that, and Silver also worked as an escort. Tony hands Silver a cheque for £10,000 to disappear so the Valencia deal can go through.

Silver is not undetermined, and goes to see Miguel where she admits a friend introduced her to this escort agency at the age of nineteen. To Silver's surprise, Miguel is not put off by her past, and asks why she's telling him this now, for Silver to drop Tony in it. Miguel confronts Tony in front of Gavin and Cindi, playing the conversation Silver had recorded on her phone. The Moody's are happy when Miguel tells him he can forget about Valencia, only Tony is fired in the process. Jason is irritated when Phil and Deano accompany him to training, and when they get the chance, begin flogging their services to any player they come across for work. Inside the dressing room, Gavin chats to Jason about his old mate, who was signed up the same time as him but lost his career to an injury. The point being, in regards to Phil and Deano, you just lose some people along the way because they don't understand the new world you are in. Following this, Jason sacks Phil and Deano, and tells them to move out.

Silver catches up with Tony, where she makes it clear she is willing to convince Miguel to go to Valencia, providing Tony triples his offer on a new cheque for her. Gavin and Cindi are not impressed when they learn from Miguel that he is going to Spain, and even less impressed to learn Silver has gone back on the deal and will be accompanying him. Silver has to hatch a new plot when Gavin threatens to burst her bubble and tell Miguel the whole truth. Katy is pleased to find Jason turfed out the "Gruesome Twosome" (as she put it) only he is worried Phil and Deano will hate him now. Katy assures Jason they will come back eventually, but he has to not go crawling, so they will understand in the end that it was the right thing to do. Gavin and Cindi return home, where they argue over what to do over Silver. Gavin goes upstairs and is shocked to find Silver lying half nude on he and Cindi's bed, having just taken a shot of herself on her phone. Silver threatens Gavin to keep his mouth shut regarding Miguel, otherwise she will send Cindi the picture and their marriage will be over!
