Team Players>>  Viktor Tankayev (Alek Khala)

(#22) Defender (1999)

Viktor was known as The Tank, not only because it was in his surname, but for his muscular build and dominant presence on the pitch. Signed from his native Ukrainian Dynamo Kiev, Viktor's team mates at FA Cup winners Harchester United found him to be laid back - if a little too much, perplexed by his unfillable appetite and with his still-learning of the English language, was able to let them and the press know he was "Happy to be here!".

Tank is in the starting eleven for Harchester's UEFA Cup First Round Second Leg against Ajax at the Amsterdam Arena, a 2-2 Harchester win on the away goal rule. At the airport to fly home, manager Luis Amor Rodriguez gives up the last seat on Biloo Kapur's private jet to Viktor when he has to stay behind. The plane flies off into the night, and bad weather, with those on board never to be seen again.

Viktor's time as a Dragon was short, but he certainly made a memorial stint.
