DT Locations: Amsterdam Arena and Holland

Amsterdam Arena and Holland appeared in 2 episodes of DT in Season 3 in September 1999.

Two weeks after the First Leg, the final game played at Addison Road after 91 years, Harchester travelled to Ajax's ground for the Second Leg of the UEFA Cup First Round. For the boys, the day before the game is spent sight-seeing; for Sean and Leon, exploring the best the city has to offer. For Scott, the best strip clubs the city has to offer! Luckily for him, Sean and Leon are there when things get heavy with a group of Ajax fans, and a mad escape down Amsterdam's streets follows. During the game, an overwhelmed Billy is firstly yellow carded after a challenge on Witschge, followed by a red for bringing down Winter. A goal from Witschge is ruled off-side, and although a pass from Sean leads to a goal from Scott, Ajax strike back with a second goal from Knopper. When Luis is brought down a penalty is awarded, which Sean scores, with Harchester winning on the away goal rule. Sean, awarded Man of the Match, is pressed on his future with Harchester, and he proudly announces that he is staying put.

At Schiphol Airport, Biloo organises a breakfast meeting with Jerry for Sean to sign his new contract. Luis learns that the team's official flight home has been delayed, and Biloo offers Luis a seat on his plane with Sean so the three can still make the breakfast meeting. As Johnny Rizzanella has arranged for Ricardo Valdez from Real Madrid to meet with Luis over a potential move, he gives his seat to Viktor Tankayev, who joins Gary Blackburn and the newly engaged Leon and Julie. The return home for the team is met with shock and sadness, as Biloo's plane disappears with all those on board.

Harchester's next date in Holland is caught up in tragedy before they even arrive, as the team sets off to face AC Milan in the UEFA Cup Final the coach crashes on the M1. With three players dead and the rest out injured, the team to face Milan is made up of the Harchester reserves, in a valiant match they lose 1-0, though the game is played at the Stadion Feijenoord in Rotterdam.

Other connections between Harchester and Holland include manager Ian Coates playing in the Eredivisie League before being appointed manager at PSV Eindhoven, with Trudi Peyton on his coaching staff. Felix Hahn also managed at PSV with Ashleigh King his fitness coach, before their move to Harchester for the 2005-06 season.
