			Watford F.C.'s Vicarage Road doubled as the ground and exteriors of Harchester United's Addison Road Stadium, in 42 episodes of DT in Seasons 1 and 2. In October 1997, youth team captain Dean Hocknell made his first team debut in the Coca-Cola Cup 3rd Round. Although they are put out by Chelsea, Dean contributes a goal, and new arrival Conor McCarthy sleeping rough is not the only thing the cameras pick up that night when Dean brings a mystery blonde back for a boardroom table romp. While Ron Atkinson's battles with chairman Michael Jacobs come to an end with his resignation, John Hollins caretakes until a replacement is found in Ian Coates. Dean receives an almighty shock when he is reacquainted with Georgina at the scene of their crime - and she is introduced by Jacobs as his sixteen-year-old daughter! At Harchester's home fixture against Liverpool, Des is revealed to be inside the new Dragon mascot costume, when he has to find Conor before he runs away back to Northern Ireland. After Jacobs (and the whole first team) see Dean and Georgina's tape, Michael tells him he's going to make him suffer in the reserves for the remainder of his contract. Later while holding a sponsorship dinner, Des punches Michael across the table as a warning to stay away from Lynette. When the club hosts Jacobs's wake, a fight between Lucy and Georgina sees her pregnancy made public, and Lucy has to be carried out screaming upon the news.

At the FA Cup 5th Round, Coates's managing leaves Conor thinking he has to go out and be a tough guy. Minutes after coming on as a substitute, Conor clashes with Ian Wright and leaves him on the pitch in agony. Frank gives Conor some real management advice, and tells him he needs to be ready not in his actions but in his head the next time. Harchester go out at the Quarter Final with a goal from West Ham's Berkovich, and a little help from Stephanie Jacobs's "Harchester Says No" drugs campaign. The final home game of the season sees Harchester draw with Chelsea, and undergo a further wait to see Blackburn Rovers beat Barnsley to know they will be staying in the Premiership. Harchester's new, and most influential chairman to date, Jerry Block makes clear his plan to take the club into the twenty-first century with a new stadium, and the Addison Road redevelopment seeing a new housing estate where the stadium stood. Harchester makes its first international signing this season in Luis Amor Rodriguez. After the suspension of Coates, Frank oversees Harchester's progression through the Third, Fourth and Fifth rounds of the FA Cup, before Luis is appointed in the role. A 1-1 draw in the Quarter Final at home is followed by wins in the Replay at St. Andrews and Semi-Final at Anfield. Going up against Man United at Wembley, Harchester bring the FA Cup back to Addison Road with a 2-1 win. The Dragon's Lair stadium is built over the summer of 1999, and the last game at Addison Road, after 91 years as Harchester's home ground, is the UEFA Cup First Round First Leg against Ajax on Thursday 16th September 1999.
