I see dead players! Sean, Scott, Leon Billy |
GS: Biloo Kapur (Hari Dhillon) Johnny Rizzanella (Geoff Cotton) The team arrive at the Amsterdam Arena, and sitting in the stands, Luis goes through his formation for tomorrow’s game. An overwhelmed Billy learns he will start, while a disappointed Sean is told he will be starting on the bench. While Sean and Leon leave the team hotel to do some sight-seeing, Scott has another version in mind and finds a strip club. Sean and Leon end up in the same strip joint as Scott, while some Ajax fans are at that moment giving Scott hassle. Sean and Leon calm things down until it flares up again with Scott, and the three have to leg it from the club! Catching their breath outside a jewellers, Leon knows what present he will be getting Julie. A mysterious man comes looking for Luis at his room. The man talks to Luis about the events at Wembley, and believes this is the reason he wants to move on from Harchester, while Luis keeps his Lynda woes under wraps. The man says he'll see what he can put out, and in the corridor Scott recognises him as Johnny Rizzanella, a big-time fixer, and Michael knows he was talking to Luis. The team arrive at the arena to play tonight, and in Harchester Kelly and Zena are watching in the health club bar. In the dressing room, Billy is at his most nervous for tonight. Ann arrives in the executive box and sits with Biloo and Julie. During the first half, Billy is yellow carded after a bad challenge on Witschge. Ann is on to Biloo and says she's sure Leon will be pleased he brought Julie over to see him. When Billy brings down Winter the ref shows him a red and his game is over. Notes: The Best: All the Amsterdam tourism scenes featuring Sean, Leon and Scott. The chase involving the three down the city’s streets. Tank graduating from his family-size bag of crisps to an apple, all while Billy talks away at him. · Quotes: Kelly to Zena on Flames during Harchester games: “It was packed in here the night we beat Reykjavik” Foreshadowing: There is almost a “Wolf Creek” element to the brief scene of Sean and Leon penning postcards to unknown recipients, which will no doubt arrive after the next episode’s events. Not to mention whilst listening to Luis’s formation in the AA stands, the camera pans on a shot of Sean, Leon, Tank and Gary Blackburn! · What Was The Score?: In the UEFA Cup First Round Second Leg, Richard Knopper scores taking Ajax 1-up. Result in next episode. Soundtrack: Venga Boys: "We Like To Party!", Smash Mouth: "All Star" and “Walkin on the Sun”, ATB: “9pm (Till I Come)”, Living End: "Prisoner of Society" |
