At reception, Zena collects passports from Scott, Eddie and Dion, though Billy believes he will not be selected for the Ajax game. Kelly overhears Sean struggling to get in touch with Dean, and strikes up a conversation about how he must be missing Fletch like she is, before asking if he’s OK? Sean avoids discussing his feelings and dashes away for training. In the dressing room, Scott zooms in on Sean with all he will be needed for in Amsterdam will be to make tea, which the subs always used to do for him at Liverpool. At the Block's mansion, Lynda tries to go out, but Penny sits her down with a magazine with Luis's face on the cover!

In training, Sean struggles, and Luis brings him off to be replaced by Billy, which when successful delights Scott. As the team take penalties, Sean needn't worry about Coggan saving his shot, for it misses the bar wide. Jerry's plan for Lynda to find the Luis magazine has worked, and he announces that Luis has been photographed with not one but two different women this summer. Lynda is distraught and when Jerry tells her Luis never visited her at all, she apologises for her affair. As Luis and Terry select who they will be taking, Luis knows the team do not click and thinks he will have to take cover for Sean.

Biloo finds Sean outside the Lair and says he doesn't understand what's wrong with Sean and will get him a move if he wants one. Biloo tells Sean he will look into sorting counselling for him, which Sean is against. Biloo is distracted by Leon and whisks him off for coffee and do some poaching. The players circle the team sheet for Ajax. Billy is called over and is stunned to see his name included. Biloo catches Julie and invites her to the Ajax game on his private jet. Zena stops Luis - and once she's established he is "Mr Rodriguez"(!) - hands him back the latest bunch of flowers he's unsuccessfully tried to send Lynda.

Luis turns up at the Block's gate trying to see Lynda, but the force field known as Nurse Penny is having none of it. Scott is not happy about Luis playing him in midfield when he's a striker. Jerry is coy about why Scott shouldn't really worry - for managers come and go don't they? Luis is not pleased when he sees Scott leaving Jerry's office and tells the chairman he is sick of working for him. When Jerry asks why does he then, Luis retorts with how he knows why - he is in love with his wife, and they are lovers! Jerry adds Lynda hasn't tried to contact Luis at all, and to prove they are finished, he puts Lynda on the phone to Luis. We don't hear what Lynda says but Luis gets the answer he isn't looking for, and Jerry is smug.
