The Harchester coach arrives back at The Lair from Goodison, the team having drawn against Everton. Ray tells them to concentrate now on three points at Old Trafford, while remarking to Kelly that Billy O'Neill is dead meat, still in Liverpool for his mate’s party. Billy meanwhile, is being led into a prison cell while claiming he was playing at Goodison Park tonight. Ray gets the call to inform him about Billy while he is reviewing tonight's game on tape. Luis asks Lynda to understand that if she makes him stay in Harchester he will grow to hate the club, and her.

Didier, stressed after a bad performance in tonight's game, tells Victoria while attracted to each other they are not compatible. Victoria replies she will be out of his life as soon as he gets her the money. As Lynda and Luis lie together, she knows that he needs to return to Argentina. Ray is awoken by Sandra to find he fell asleep at his desk, and she hands him the morning papers splashed with Billy's arrest. Lynda informs Roger they will be selling Luis, though Roger wonders if it's wise after all they invested in his return. Though when Prash hears this he believes Lynda will also be joining Luis in Argentina.

Luis is pleased when Ray tells him he will be playing him in the hole on Saturday, so he better keep hold of Roy Keane. Prash is put straight by Lynda on her staying at the club until the end of the season. Victoria approaches Didier on how one of the country's top divorce lawyers is a friend of daddy's and she's suggested a one-off lump-sum payment of £800,000. Didier tells her he doesn't have that sort of money, and Prash overhears from the top of the stairs. Ray tells Lynda they need Billy too much for them to drop him, but a twenty-grand fine should do it.

Lynda tells Luis Johnny is talking to clubs in Argentina, River Plate and Boca Juniors. Prash comes out to chat with Didier in the stands, and plays Devil's Advocate of how he will do all he can to keep Didier as club captain should relegation happen. He then says he can make Didier's money problems go away - what with everything hanging on these last two games. Didier knows exactly what Prash means, and firmly states when he plays he plays to win, and requests they forget this conversation ever happened.

Breathless from avoiding Ray, Billy makes it back to the flat where he finds Wes has set up roses and champagne and is planning to propose to Kelly. Lynda explains to Luis why she can't go with him to Argentina right now, not while they are so close to finding out what will happen with the club after these two games. Kelly arrives home and despite a couple of interruptions from Billy, she accepts Wes's marriage proposal. Wes gets his own back on Billy by locking him outside the flat naked while he yells to be let back in.
