At Old Trafford, Harchester are drawing 1-1 going into the second half. In the exec stands, Prash hears people from Boca Juniors are meeting with Luis tomorrow, and remarks how he and Lynda could make a great partnership both in and outside of the club, especially as a ‘vacancy’ has become available. Lynda warns Prash she will do him for sexual harassment if he tries that one again! A second Man U goal and Scott and the girls don't think Harchester will come back from it today. With Bradford also winning, Kelly and Ann decide to leave early. Driving back, Kelly tells Ann they will have something at least to look forward to, for Wes proposed to her.

The game spirals out of control for the Dragons, and Ole Gunnar Solskjær spells doom with another three goals. Ray gives the squad a good flaming as they sit in the away dressing room, particularly not mincing his words with Didier. Didier throws it back that Ray's tactics didn't help them as he didn't prepare them for Solskjær coming on in the second half. A furious Ray orders the team straight onto the coach without pre-match drinks. As the coach travels back, Ray forces the players to listen to the 606 phone-in with Richard Littlejohn, and the numerous calls from fans criticising the club's performance this afternoon. Amongst this the attitude of the foreign players directed at Baptiste and Rodriguez.

Ann can tell Kelly is worried that Wes will find out about she and Fletch in Mallorca. After the phone-in has dished out tongue-lashings to the midfield with Eddie taking exception, it is Ray's turn, and he takes the inevitable Brian Kydd comparison again. This is enough for Ray and he has the radio turned off. Luis takes a stand and tells Ray he should listen to his fair share of the criticism, as today wasn't all the squad's fault and maybe he picked the wrong team. And for Ray to remember that Luis was once a manager too. Ann convinces Kelly that she is going to have to tell Wes about Fletch, and how it was a one-off, otherwise it will eat away at her like it did she with Michael.

Billy loses it with Fletch's gob at the back of the bus, and tells him he was selfish when here before and Mallorca has done nothing to change him. When Fletch uses Scott's counselling over Ann as a taunt back, Billy retorts with how Fletch broke Kelly's heart which a man like Wes fixed. Fletch replies if that's true why did she need him in Mallorca? Wes overhears, and goes up to Fletch to ask him what he said. Scott tries to ease the situation and Wes knows Fletch is telling the truth, and flies at him with a reign of punches. The team scramble to drag Wes off Fletch as he yells he is going to kill him. Up front, Luis and Didier reflect on how you have to know when it is time to leave, maybe now for the both of them.

Notes:

The Best: In Man U's hospitality, Ann, Kelly and Scott are amused when Victoria tells of how she bumped into her namesake Posh coming out of the crèche having met she and David at the Cannes Film Festival last year. She then spots Mick Hucknall and totters along to remind him of her existence. The Harchester coach spotted on the motorway by passing vehicles of Dragon's fans, and a full mini-bus gives them particular abuse which Wes gives a discreet V-sign to. The team’s coach journey back, the division, home-truths and eventual fight to guest Littlejohn’s commentary, all marking the 200th episode.

·          Foreshadowing: Scott’s line to Eddie of "If Fletch slept with your sister you'd probably go down and make him a cup of tea in the morning" is remarkable, as even though Fletch was still with Mallorca when Gina appeared to sleep with Scott (3.27 - 28), they will get together though it is a few years away, and away from Harchester (8.10 Who Ate All The Pies?)

Continuity: With the radio criticisms of Lynda, comes how the FA Cup was won last year with Jerry.

·          What Was The Score?: In stoppage time at the end of the first half, it stands a respectable 1-1 between Man U and Harchester, Denis Irwin 12 mins in while Billy scored for the Dragons. Solskjær scores making it 2-1, and soon becomes the Dragon's biggest nightmare, for he not only scores a hat-trick, but slots in a fourth goal, and Harchester lose an astonishing 5-1.

Soundtrack: The Cardigans: "My Favourite Game"
