GS: Roger Frost (Ken Hadley) Dave Plumber (Dean Bardini) Jerry is furious when Luis tells him the Real Madrid deal is off, and he cannot make him go. Jerry does take on board Luis's stance that the team is not ready for the next UEFA round with Rangers, and the club can't jeopardise losing money there with a loss, so asks Marilyn to get it postponed. During training, Marilyn approaches Luis, wanting advice on how best to approach UEFA on postponing the match. Luis suggests she try the club secretary, Roger Frost. With the help of Sandra Marilyn eventually gets the "busy" Mr Frost to come and see her at her office. Roger is not pleased at being detained from the editor of the Chronicle to assist Marilyn in her efforts. After a phone call, Roger says Rangers have agreed to a fortnight's postponement provided UEFA agrees, though away from the sympathies they know UEFA won't. As the session continues, Billy has a scrap with Eddie and then storms off. At lunch, Zena brings Dave to see Wes, and he is thrilled to see his mate from Luis looks for Billy, but he has already sprinted back to his flat. The phone rings and he hears Eddie rocks up at Billy’s with Franco Rossi and Dion Osbourne, and Billy wants to make amends for training today. Michael meets with Ann at the airport as she's been away, and she tells him she's got a meeting to get Jackie McNamara on her books.
