Lynda and Ray are in Paris to meet with Monday and Wolfgang. Outside the Lair, two gold diggers Maria and Donna have their sights set on making ten grand with a three-in-a-bed romp story with Harchester players, but the wisemen of Fletch and Scott see right through their game and give them the flick. Maria and Donna realise their best chances tonight lie with newcomers Campbell and Danny, who they successfully entice. Lynda and Ray watch PSG take on Bordeaux at Parc des Princes, and Lynda is concerned at Monday being left on the bench. Matt finds Lizzie awake but unresponsive on the bed, making it clear she has not forgiven him for his latest Rachel antics.

Monday is brought on for the second half, and before long has scored, with Lynda's faith restored that she is determined to see him at Harchester. Lynda and Ray finally hear from Wolfgang and sit down to dinner, where he drops a curveball that PSG have apparently raised the price for Monday to two-and-a-half million. Campbell takes Maria upstairs, while Danny has to contend with Donna! Lynda and Ray reluctantly agree to the extra £300K, but Lynda feels they need to speak with Monday without Wolfgang to make sure everything is in order. They turn up outside Monday's place but he is not pleased they are approaching him without his agent present, and it appears any move to Harchester is now in jeopardy.

Taking a night-time stroll around Paris, Ray and Lynda talk of how they are glad they came, even if they don't get Monday, and are staying next door to each other in the hotel, but both alone. The next morning, Wolfgang angrily informs Ray he and Lynda's stunt has cost them Monday, and he is going to Valencia today to finalise the deal with their chairman. Lynda takes full responsibility to Wolfgang's face, and knowing he likes her, asks him to let her make it up to him with lunch, which of course Wolfgang is susceptible. Maria and Donna still believe they can do better than Campbell, being on an estate with footballer's worth millions of pounds.

Jeff arrives in Paris at Ray's request, and reports how PSG still only want £2.2M for Monday and everything above that goes straight to Wolfgang with Monday supposedly getting a cut. Ray knows they could pay PSG what they want, with an attractive signing-on fee and cut Wolfgang out. Lynda has her lunch with Wolfgang, who now informs her Valencia are offering £3.5M and Lynda has Wolfgang bang to rights. Ray and Jeff approach Monday and inform him how Wolfgang stands to make a million out of him, and if he wasn't in on the cut he should phone PSG to hear it from them.

Wolfgang tells Lynda Luis was a foolish man to let her go, and with his hand on her leg says Monday is his property which Monday overhears standing behind him. Monday confronts Wolfgang over letting him believe PSG were making all the money, and tells him he no longer wants him to be his agent. Monday is ready to hear Ray's offer, and Jeff even gets to put himself forward as a new representative. With Monday's medical still to take place, Lynda and Ray decide to stay over another night in their hotel. Before long, Maria and Donna are throwing a party in Eddie's house, and Danny isn't happy. Donna decides to put Danny out of action, and spikes his orange juice.

Fletch, Scott, Jamie and Tash join the party, and Eddie arrives home for Christmas Day unexpectedly, angry how his house has been taken over by a load of strangers. Eddie sees Danny in an hallucinogenic trace from the drugs he was given, and Danny is full on freaking out now. Maria comes forward to say some guys were selling acid and could've spiked Danny's drink, which Eddie is grateful for her help, whilst blaming Campbell for this whole thing. Ray goes back to Lynda's room for a nightcap, where he finds a magazine with Luis's wedding featured, and reveals to Lynda he told Luis he was mad to let her go. Soon Ray and Lynda are kissing. After seeing how the kids are happy to have Matt home, Lizzie tells him she will stay for Christmas for their sake. Ray and Lynda end up in bed together, and Ray gets out, admitting he's now scared, as being with Lynda was too good.
