GS: Jake Conlon (Billy Hill) Joe Cassidy (Tom Roberts) Peter Hutchens (James Warrior) Saul Hershman (Michael Sheldon) Registrar (John Quinn) Monday arrives to a rapturous welcome outside the Lair, and the press later cover his first official training session. Suddenly, two men approach and announce they are arresting Monday for alleged illegal entry to the UK, and cart him off in front of the press and a stunned Lynda and Ray. Monday reveals he has two passports, a Nigerian and a Portuguese - sorted by Wolfgang when he played in Lynda has a prior meeting booked with Mr Hutchens, her private detective bugging Prash. Hutchens presents Lynda with photographs of how Prash spent Christmas in Lynda's house with Victoria, while she was in Paris, and how they also went in her bedroom so Lynda needs to be prepared that Prash himself is bugging her. Jeff manages to get Monday out on bail, and organises for him to stay with Jamie and Tash until this is sorted. Lynda and Ray discuss how Danny is fit to play following his drink spiking. Before they can get onto the subject of their sleeping together, Saul Hershman the club's lawyer comes to inform them Monday's Visa must be sorted from outside the UK, and until that happens he cannot play football for them. Jeff reveals he has found the solution, and in 24 hours time Monday will have his Visa. Tash announces she is joining Jeff and Monday for their trip to Ireland, and can look after Monday while Jeff deals with the business. At their Dublin hotel, Tash meets a chambermaid Siobhan before hitting the shops, while Jeff and Monday visit the British Embassy to get things fast tracked. Saul has further bad news for Lynda; for Monday to qualify for a work permit and play for Harchester on a Nigerian passport, he has to have played in 75% of Nigeria's international games over the last two years. As two of those games were friendlies, Monday still does not qualify. Lynda sends for Ray, and is distraught, knowing she gambled everything on Monday. Ray consoles her, and soon they are kissing again until Ray has to back away. Jeff is at his wit’s end in Dublin, but has a last ditch plan which will see Monday able to play for Harchester - he just has to marry a UK citizen! Monday is set against this, informing Jeff he already has a fiancée in Nigeria, but Jeff reminds him Harchester own his registration so it's not like he can just go back to Paris and play. Monday goes back to Jeff and reluctantly agrees to his plan, but then reacts badly when Jeff suggests an easy search would be to recruit a hooker for the task! Tash entices Siobhan into a champagne-break where she learns she is from Northern Ireland and would love a life like Tash's married to a rich footballer. Tash realises they have found the perfect wife for Monday! Jeff explains the 'mission' to Siobhan, with Tash managing to bump up his payment to £10K, and Siobhan is introduced to her spouse with a handshake. At the town hall, Siobhan gets cold feet when reality hits her how she'll be living in England with a man she doesn't know. Monday talks to her about his family back home, and how they are depending on him for money which he can't send if he can't play football, and Siobhan is helping both he and them. This brings her round how it is ultimately a business deal she is entering into. Prash thinks Lynda has blown two-and-a-half million on Monday who can't play and looks forward to what the press will do to her. That is until Jeff walks through the door with the newly returned Mr and Mrs Bandele. Lynda has a good gloat to Prash that with Monday married to an EU citizen he is now more than eligible. Ray and Lynda finally have the 'talk', and Lynda states she is aware Ray loves his wife and son which she doesn't want to ruin, but tells Ray he is allowed to have enjoyed what happened between them, which he admits he did. Enjoying an after-hours spa bath with Victoria in the dressing room, Prash returns to the empty offices and spots Hutchens scanning his office. Calling Victoria to get the man's registration number as he leaves, Prash goes in and opening up his phone finds a bug has been planted. Afterwards, Prash promises Victoria that Lynda has crossed a line and he will now do whatever it takes to finish her and take the club. Monday and Siobhan spend their first night as husband and wife, left alone in Jamie and Tash's house, though still strangers.
