GS: Paul Hankin (Leigh Cranston) Jake Conlon (Billy Hill) Emma Conlon (Jessica Hill) Saul Hershman (Michael Sheldon) Trevor Cutler (Stephen Rashbrook) Martin Cutler (Jordan Calvert) Lynda arrives at the club to find Prash sitting in her office, and reveals he's found the bug her private detective planted, adding he now knows she wants to play dirty. Tash decides she is going to make Siobhan look the part of an international footballer's wife with a London makeover. Lynda and Saul Hershman attend a meeting with the bank, where Lynda learns for the first time that Prash is withdrawing his overdraft, meaning Lynda has to find ten million pounds within 28 days otherwise the bank will sell the club from under her. When he learns Lynda had Prash bugged, Saul recommends Lynda sell to Prash, otherwise he could take this to the press with how she is harming the club by refusing the funds he would bring. Lynda wants to try her other option of using the freehold of the ground, and even throwing the Barrons in as security. Lynda manages to impress Trevor the bank manager with tickets for he and his son to Monday's sold-out debut. Victoria is moving out of Lynda's, with Lynda remarking it won't be long until Prash is bored with her. While Victoria bites back with how she'll be around long enough to see her lose the club. Prash and Victoria discuss Lynda putting The Barrons on the table, and with Jerry building them Prash believes there's bound to be something dodgy to be found. Prash sends Victoria to the local authority planning office to find out. Scott is not happy in training when Ray wants him to play midfield, and warns if he can't play in his usual position he will be looking for a transfer. Victoria reports back to Prash how she's found out the land The Barrons was built on was once a rubbish tip. Jerry's first application was thrown out because methane gas levels arising from the tip were unsafe, but two months later a second application was accepted. Prash knows a brown envelope cropped up and now with the danger living in The Barrons is causing it's unsuspecting residents, Prash and Victoria know they must go straight to the press! A certain Mr Hankin is very interested and questions Lynda, but all she can say is she'll sue him if he prints this. When Lynda tells Ray, he tests the air with a lighter where there are no explosions. Lizzie is concerned when she spots a man conducting tests on the air from The Barrons' driveway, and finds a newspaper with the story front page. In the dressing room before kick off against Liverpool, Scott and Fletch nearly have a full-on scrap, at the precise moment Lynda brings Trevor’s son Martin to meet Scott. There is further drama when the Harchester wives from the Barrons arrive, Lizzie bringing suitcases, and demanding to know what the truth is about The Barrons. Lynda tries to convince the wives that Jerry would never have been allowed to build on the site if it was unsafe, which Tash points out it was safer then than it is now. It takes Lynda to put the Parkers and Conlons up at The Grange whilst a report is undertaken, in exchange for them not speaking to Hankin. In the run-up to half-time, a clash of heads between Matt and Steven Gerrard sees Harchester's captain stretchered off the pitch. Hankin is fobbed off with how the suitcases were due to a surprise birthday trip to London for Lizzie, and Hankin accuses Victoria of wasting his time on the Barrons story. Replacing Matt, Ray passes the armband to Scott for the second half. Lynda is relieved when Trevor is pleased with how things are going on the pitch. As the club celebrates the win, Ray and Lynda head down to the empty offices where soon they are making out once more.
