Lynda and Ray arrive at work and are again kissing in the lift, having spent another night together. Outside the Lair, a mysterious woman steps out of a taxi as if on a mission to find someone. Lynda stands before another board meeting, and announces with the Barrons currently out of action, she plans to sell the freehold to The Dragon's Lair and secure a one-hundred year lease on the ground which will bring in £20M. The table is shocked, but Lynda states it will pay off the debts she inherited from Jerry. Prash takes charge and attacks Lynda's plan as leaving the club with nothing. Lynda develops a headache and has to step outside.

The lads spot Lola watching training, and Monday goes over where he is told he owes his fiancée an explanation about his marriage. In the ladies Lynda is feeling dizzy and hot. She returns for Round 2 in the boardroom where she asks for a vote on mortgaging the ground. When the table once again follows Prash's lead and doesn't comply, Lynda tells the board they are all sacked! Which she can do, being the majority shareholder who only needs two directors. Lynda addresses the team with how the methane levels at The Barrons have been found to be safe and provides reports. Fletch follows her out and demands more money with Monday getting five grand extra. Lynda yells at him to stop being selfish and to think of the club, before collapsing to the floor in front of Fletch.

As Siobhan moves into the new house, Lola shocks Monday by requesting to meet his new wife. Lynda is seen by her doctor, Sheila, and believes the collapse was down to the stress she is under at work. Prash and Victoria take Councillor North to lunch where they try to convince him to speak out about Lynda sacking the board. North is sympathetic to Lynda, saying even though she sacked him her heart has always been in the right place, and doesn't see her badmouthing the board to the press. Ray brings Lynda to the Blue Room to make sure she gets something to eat, and Lynda accuses Prash and Councillor North of scheming against her. Victoria assures Prash they will find another secret Lynda doesn't want them to know about.

Siobhan is shocked when Monday requests she stay the night at Tash's, so he and Lola can be together in the new house. Lynda asks Ray would he be one of the two new directors she needs, and makes sure to add their sleeping together would be kept separate! Ray is unsure as it could harm the trust he has with the lads, and Lynda gives him the couple of weeks they have left to decide. Lola is not happy when she learns Monday has to stay married to Siobhan for two years, and worries about the shame of her fiancée living with another woman will bring. Lynda returns to Sheila and is told, to her amazement, that she is pregnant. Lynda is stunned, and can't imagine being a parent right now with such a demanding job, even though Sheila points out a couple of years ago a baby was all she wanted.

Lola sees Monday off for training, as Joe Cassidy from Immigration Services watches from his car. He introduces himself to Lola and enters the house. Lynda tells Ray she is pregnant, and he is shocked, to which Lynda responds she didn't think she could get pregnant as she's been trying for years. Lola gets over to Tash's to tell Siobhan about Cassidy’s arrival, and Siobhan is surprisingly calm, choosing to find out what he wants before contacting Monday. Siobhan learns it is a routine visit to check whether the marriage is genuine. Lynda and Ray discuss what they are going to do, with Lynda believing she will have to raise the baby alone as Ray will stay with Kitty and William.

Lynda goes back to her GP and says she wants a termination. When Lynda talks of all the trouble it will cause other people if she has the baby, Sheila reminds Lynda it should be about what she wants. Monday returns home and Cassidy is aware that he and Lola were engaged, but with Siobhan's lead they explain it away as being a long time ago and Lola is now getting married to someone else. Cassidy is forced to go on his way and the trio are relieved they dodged his questions. Lola hands back her engagement ring to Monday, saying if he still feels the same in two years time they should talk.

Lynda sees Siobhan out walking and invites her back to hers. They get chatting and Siobhan reveals she was last in England a couple of years ago, when she came over for an abortion. Siobhan says her circumstances decided it for her, the father wasn't around and she didn't have the money to raise the child alone. But it might have made a difference if she'd had either. Siobhan adds she will try again when the time is right, as she's still young, which makes Lynda realise her time for motherhood may be slipping away.
