Lynda tasks Monday with seeing the warring Fletch and Linton form a strike partnership, and is moving Linton into The Barrons to be kept an eye on. When Lynda discovers Dawn may not even know she is supposed to have left the house by now, she deliberately sends Claudia to her with an eviction notice, to make her think twice about fooling around with a married manager. Claudia awkwardly has to explain as David is no longer employed by the club they cannot justify housing his wife. Dawn throws it back at Claudia that because of her she won't be his wife much longer, and shows her divorce papers she has received. Tash comes to see Monday about a paternity test, but he refuses as he believes she will get rid of the baby if it's his. Jamie sees Tash leaving Monday's office and is alarmed. Claudia is surprised when an anonymous bouquet of flowers arrive for her, and Lynda remarks she has a secret admirer. Jamie confronts Monday, and gets it out of him that Tash thinks the baby could be his. Stevie loses it with Fletch not taking anything seriously at the club anymore, reminding him they have an FA Cup game tomorrow. Stevie warns Fletch he is set to end up like Linton - having to fight his way back. Claudia has a troubling moment when a bottle of the perfume she uses is posted to Nikki's house. When Jamie questions Tash about what Monday told him, she turns it on Monday being the one who can't take that the baby is Jamie's and wanted she to do the test. Tash again insists she is fourteen weeks pregnant and doesn't like Jamie calling her a liar, which guilt trips Jamie into conceding that they don't need a test. Fletch is out of control and nearly gets into a fight with a bloke over he coming onto his girlfriend, which Linton has to get him out of. When Claudia's next delivered "present" is a bra and underwear, she thinks Peggsy is responsible, having walked in on her in her nightwear. Linton and Stevie set about getting Fletch fit for the match, by sweating the alcohol out of him with intense training. Lynda has an awkward encounter when Dawn approaches her in the Players' Lounge over sending Claudia to evict her. Tash is worried when Jamie skips the game, and she and Lynda have a heart-to-heart. Tash isn't sure she wants to keep the baby for all the stress the lying to Jamie is bringing her. Lynda pleads with her to look after herself, as her baby needs her to be healthy, and not to put herself at risk of what she went through with her miscarriage. After some stern words from Linton on how he's worked too hard to let Fletch ruin his chances, Fletch gets his act together and a pass to Linton sees him score on his debut. Fletch’s game is over after a clash with Jason Gavin in which he is stretchered off with a suspected elbow fracture. As he sits in the dressing room before them, Lynda instructs Monday to sort his differences with Jamie, as she doesn't want another game without him. In front of his team mates, Claudia hands Peggsy the lingerie box though he claims he was not behind her receiving it. At her desk, Claudia finds defaced photos of her marketing campaign addressed to her, and she is scared. Notes: The Best: Fletch winding Linton up in training over his brother leaving him at the club, and calling Linton “Curtis”. Nikki put out when Claudia lists all of Stevie's good points if he was her mystery gift sender, but then adds he is not her type to Nikki’s relief. Linton spooked to wake up where a drunken Fletch slept next to him, and wakes him with a glass of water over his head! Quotes: Claudia’s response to Andrei possibly being behind her pursuing, in his accent: "In my country it is tradition to invite girlfriend's best friend to bed also!" What Was The Score?: Harchester play the FA Cup Fourth Round against Middlesbrough. The teams go in 0-0 at half time. A pass from Fletch and a corner kick from Peggsy find their way to Linton, and he scores twice, with Harchester winning the game 2-0.
