GS: Doctor (Jonathan Floyd) Julie (Rita Simons) Molly (Lee Blakemore) Peggsy opens his latest pay packet and Fletch remarks it’s probably more money than he got in the whole of last year. Claudia shows Nikki the threatening pictures she received, and scared to open a new delivery, finds it is only a gift from her dad. Fletch introduces Peggsy to his designer, and commissions five grand’s worth of suits. Gary has had enough of Claudia taking over his home and moves into The Grange. Lynda offers to help Tash by persuading Jamie to ask her to do the test, as she has a vested interest with he being the club's goalkeeper. Fletch and co turn up in The Blue Room to spend Peggsy's money on expensive wine and are distracted by a quartet of feisty looking women. The ladies reveal themselves to be a girlband The Sirens, who are shooting a video in Harchester of all places. Claudia runs through with Nikki and Stevie who her stalker could be, with one suspect in her mind being Jeff. Stevie suggests it could be Linton, especially as Claudia had dinner with he and Curtis, and he is bad news. After going on to Studs with The Sirens, Peggsy takes one girl, Julie back to his room where she offers him ecstasy. Following Lynda's talk, Jamie as expected lets Tash know he is feeling terribly guilty for going against her word, but the thought of waiting until the baby is born is too much, so would she have the test? The doctor tells Tash and Jamie it will be two to three weeks before they get the results. Danny and Peggsy think they've escaped the talentless twosome of Julie and Molly when they head off to the opening of a strip club, but the girls track them down there. Claudia has another strange encounter when she feels she is being watched inside the offices, and her ordered taxi is cancelled, so she begins to walk home in the dark. Stevie and even womaniser Andrei try to persuade Danny and Peggsy to ditch the troublesome Julie and Molly, but they are keen not to be seen as boring and head off to The Grange pool. When Molly brings out the drugs, Danny knows it is time to call it a day, but Peggsy won't go, wanting to be exciting and accepts the pill. Danny turns up at Lisa's house, telling her even sleeping with Molly didn't make him feel any different and he needs her in his life. Claudia gets home but is startled to find the front door open, and going inside finds the chilling message 'Are You Scared Yet?' written in red lipstick on the living room mirror. While the Sirens are busy stripping a Grange staff member who has come to remove them from the pool, Peggsy has an adverse reaction to the pill he took, and slips on the side of the pool, injuring himself and ending up face down in the water. Notes: Best Known For: A one-time girlband member herself in Girls@Play, Rita Simons became widely known for her ten year role as Roxy Mitchell in "EastEnders" (2007-17), a character who, like here after a drug taking session ended up face down in a swimming pool! The Best: Gary’s attempt, on Fletch and Linton’s advice, to lay down the law to Claudia on sharing the house. But when he tries to in one of his new garish suits, Nikki and Claudia cannot take him seriously and can’t stop their giggles. Did You Know?: The Sirens originate from Greek mythology, where they were dangerous creatures who would lure sailors to their island with their singing voices, and cause them to shipwreck and drown. A famous composition is William Etty's 1837 painting "The Sirens and Ulysses". Of course here, The Sirens were a girlband and the sailors Harchester United footballers - and the sea where Peggsy would nearly drown The Grange swimming pool!
