Cold Turkey

The love triangle between Robbie, Tash and Jamie takes on a fourth dimension when Shannon decides to stay in the UK. Plus, Ryan's moment of glory on the pitch is short lived as the police arrive and arrest him for the hit and run accident.

Ryan is forced to confess that it was Tara that was driving the car at the time of the accident. The police release him from custody. Ryan then goes to visit Tara to warn her that the police know everything and that she must admit it was her who ran down the pedestrian, who is still in a critical condition in hospital. Tara is taken to the police station where she owns up to the accident, but the police are reluctant to believe her story.

Tash is angry at Jamie because he was angry with her for her affair with Robbie when he himself was having an affair with an American Tennis Player, Shannon, whilst in America. Tash packs her bags and goes to see Robbie- she tells Robbie that she has left Jamie and that its over between the two of them. Jamie pleads with Tash not to go, but after she has gone he makes his move on Shannon and pleads with her to stay in the UK! Jeff meets Shannon at the Grange and he discovers Jamie in her room whilst Jeff takes her flowers!

Harchester play their Boxing Day match against Manchester United, but after Abi under-cooks the Christmas Day turkey- half the team are out with food-poisoning! Youth team players are drafted into the squad and they manage a 2-2 draw, with Robbie and Ryan scoring Harchester's goals.

Meanwhile Tara is locked in a prison cell with the police still not believing her story that she was driving the car, this makes it easy for her to change her story and she tells the police that it was Ryan driving after all and that he had 'paid her off'! Ryan is arrested after the match.
