Ann informs Kelly she has decided to join Michael in Huddersfield. In the filmed episode of course, Michael went to Charlton Athletic, and had returned to Harchester by the time of today's game. As this is such an early draft, the plot was later changed, but Michael does not feature here at all originally.

MacKinley leaves Jerry on the wasteland where he has abducted him. In the episode to watch, a technical glitch loses this scene.

Jerry escapes, and knocks on a door to a man for help in getting to Upton Park. As with the above wasteland scene, this part is omitted from the episode to see.

Jerry tries to stop Luis from taking to the pitch as the team are heading out. In the filmed episode, he doesn’t reach Luis and it is Gordon whom Jerry speaks with in the tunnel.

Ann and Didier discuss her joining Michael in Huddersfield.

Doctor Bradley reveals he should have stopped Luis from playing today.
