Featherstone House featured in 14 episodes of DT in Seasons 1 and 2. In an attempt to fight his burgeoning feelings for his stepmum Mandy, Warren invites Conor to move into a new flat with him. He is given the keys for 10 Featherstone House, Conor thinks it is a dive but Warren thinks it will be better when he gets to work on it.
Soon, to mostly Warren's annoyance, the flat is a place of sanctuary for their friends going through various life-complexities. Returning with Sean from England Under-19's duty, Warren finds Conor has put Des up following his separation from Lynette. While Sean gets an eyeful of his on-off lover Trudi next to Conor in his bed. Conor is sorry he couldn't get Trudi her job back, but she doesn't regret last night and wishes him luck. Stephen visits Des and tells him of the miserable feeling at home. He shows his dad a HUFC purple gnome that he wants to fix with him if he came home, which he does.
At the end of the season Warren achieves his pro contract with the club, but returning to the flat old nemesis Doug and a heavy corner him with metal batons, to do his knees in after hearing about his contract. Warren out runs them and jumps over the side of a balcony, breaking his leg. Warren undergoes months of recovery, and Frank tries to persuade him to move into the hostel for easier access, but Warren feels unappreciated and is soon back in his own space at the flat. It is often up to Julie to try and break Warren's isolation.
At Christmas, Warren goes to the hostel to eat when Julie and Kelly get drunk preparing Christmas dinner, and a knock at the door sees Mica, Warren's sister turn up looking for him. Warren tries to throw her out, adding she won't get to Julie, but is beginning to thaw towards her after they attend the FA Cup Third Round. When Warren stops answering the door to Julie, and nobody can get in touch with him, the police are called, and the door is forced. With Julie close behind, Warren is found, and a distraught Julie has to be taken away by a policeman. Frank explains to Denise Warren succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning, when his gas fire wasn't working properly.
When Clare Farrow begins working in the canteen, she takes a flat at Featherstone House, to Leon's anguish not wanting their toddler son in the building. Bringing Clayton back after spending time with him, Leon witnesses Alex arriving with an overnight bag, and decides he won't leave his son there.
