Julie Parsons wrote 2
episodes of DT in Season 5. She was also a script editor on the show during
this season. Following DT, she continued with
Sky One writing on both series of "Is Harry on the Boat?"
(2002-03), followed by Channel 5 soap "Family Affairs" (2004-05).
Julie’s further credits include storylining on "Bad Girls" (2006),
writing for " In 2004, Julie began on
"Emmerdale" as a script editor, in the role for over a year, before
her long career on the show’s writing team got underway. As of 2025, she has
written 240 episodes for the soap. Her adaptation of Katherine May's
memoirs "The Electricity of Every Living Thing" won silver at the
2023 British Podcast Awards, and Julie published her first children's book
"Gissitback" in 2018. |
