Barry therefore cannot deny how Alex wasn't good enough to make it on his own as a player, which hurts him.

Hired by Duval on behalf of Casper when he was trying to fit Ryan up for match fixing. As Ryan was already suspended, Jimmy, or "Birdman" was made to play upon Ryan's fears that the team would struggle against Charlton, and together they set about making a plan that would see Harchester win the match. In order to pay Jimmy, Ryan needed to borrow money from Eugene, who was also out. Ryan made Eugene believe Jimmy was a loan shark, and without his knowledge, Gene brought some of his heavies to give Jimmy a beating. Jimmy worried that Ryan would remember he'd once dated his sister, Maggie, whom Ryan visited when searching for answers on "Birdman".

Viv puts money in front of them which he says they can take, if they can dodge the five-iron golf club he is holding in mid-air above the cash! Clyde tells the team in training that the boys fled in fear.
