Marilyn is at the airport to meet the team as they touch down from Italy. She is stunned however to spot her contact Prashant Dattani mingling with Eddie and Scott on the airport floor, and even more startled to learn he too has returned from watching the team play Parma. Jerry returns to Lynda outright accusing him of killing John Black. Ray makes the team re-watch last night's game, and instils it in them that just because they are being praised in the press for only losing 1-0 to Parma, doesn't mean they can become complacent, for it could place them in a relegation battle.

Kelly is concerned when she finds unpaid bills hidden in the flat and gets it out of Billy that he let things slip after Leon died. Billy is stunned to learn from Kelly that Wes is on four grand a week, when he only gets a quarter of that. Jerry and Maxine manhandle a yelling Lynda back into her room and lock the door, with Jerry saying he will fetch Doctor Bradley. Prash shows Marilyn he is way ahead of her when he says he is meeting Jack Fellows to discuss he selling him his 15% share. Kelly and Billy go to collect Wes home from the hospital, and when Billy asks Wes for a sub, it is revealed he lost a few grand playing cards with Scott and Eddie. Wes advises Billy to talk to the club about his contract, as Eddie is getting more than even him.

Doctor Bradley arrives to be firmly told by Jerry that he wants him to sign Lynda over to a psychiatric ward. Bradley sees Lynda, but she comes across as rational and even agrees with him that she is suffering delayed shock from the shooting. Paying Scott and Eddie a visit, Billy wangles it out of Eddie that he is in fact getting double what Wes is getting. When Bradley says he can't have Lynda sent anywhere, Jerry retorts that he sent Luis onto the pitch with dodgy knees and cancelled a game because of a Meningitis scare, but Bradley stands his ground saying it would be unethical.

When Lynda overhears Jerry telling Maxine how they would need two signatures to have Lynda committed, Lynda tells Jerry she is leaving him, and when he says she can't she replies what could he do, shoot her? Scott gives Billy Jeff Stein's number to get his advice. Marilyn comes across Jack giving Prash, his ‘business associate’ a guided tour of the club, and they pretend they've never met while Marilyn knows Prash has worked his magic. Prash has plans to turn the club into a PLC as long as he can get it for the right price, and says he'll make Marilyn a very wealthy woman if she helps him to do so. Lynda waits for Luis at the airport, and when he comes through they fall into each others arms. Lynda tells Luis it was he Jerry was trying to kill when she was shot.
