David Douglas thinks Tara will escape prison and with her guilty plea will likely receive a fine and a ban. Phil tells Tara with the charge her position at the club is no longer feasible, and Tara saves him the trouble and resigns herself, asking could she stay for the Sunderland game? In training, Patrick makes Fletch train with the reserves, and then leaves him out of selection for Sunderland altogether, to Marcel’s confusion. Patrick reminds Fletch he needs the £100K, but Fletch won’t do something like join his bet.

Jamie is shocked when he receives Tash’s divorce papers, and Shannon is feeling neglected, whilst Robbie doesn't want to talk about Jamie when he is up to be with Tash. Fletch is shocked when he is left a photo of he and the woman he kissed after their trip to the dogs, and fears Abi will receive one. Fletch goes to Patrick, where he reveals he has the negatives, which would ruin his marriage on top of his finances and career, unless he loses for him tomorrow. A defeated Fletch gives in and tells Patrick he'll do it.

When Stuart’s ankle injury from training gets the better of him on the pitch, he is stretchered off and Fletch's moment has arrived. A goal down at half time a flabbergasted Curtis is subbed for Clyde. Shannon approaches Tash about how the divorce is having an affect on Jamie's game today, and when Shannon puts it to her that she still loves her husband, Tash cannot answer, which Robbie overhears. Robbie decides to return to Brighton early, telling Tash if she decides she doesn't want Jamie she knows where he is.

Tash takes out Robbie's leaving on Shannon and slaps her, receiving one back. When Jamie shows more concern for Tash, Shannon is offended and walks away. Shannon tells Jamie she knows he’s still drawn to Tash, and is going to put her career first with a tennis tournament. When Fletch calls Patrick's bluff that he has no power if he just shows Abi the picture himself, and can't put him on the bench after today's performance, Doyle reveals that he has "others" in the team in on his bet who will continue for him.
