Parker (Olivia Sofie Newman) At the club's
Dragon of the Year awards, Fletch is presented
with the titular prize, and makes a speech directed at Patrick that the team
will be staying in the Premiership. Patrick hands Fletch a drink with a
dissolved substance in it. Jacqui is living in
fear that Fletch will reveal all, and collapses in pain. At the hospital, Phil is told that
Jacqui suffered an ectopic rupture and lost the
baby she was carrying, to his shock. Patrick sneaks into the dressing room
and places a sachet of drugs under a random player’s kit. At the afterparty, Fletch has been acting wild, and accuses Stuart of faking his
injury following Patrick's earlier words. In the dressing
room, Abi makes Karl apologise to Stuart, but
there is a distraction when the drugs fall out of Ryan’s kit. When Phil
arrives, Patrick learns for the first time Jacqui was pregnant, but gets his
mind on the drugs test he wants to hold. Phil and the backroom staff are
unsure, but Patrick sells it to them that it will allow them to keep the
guilty player on the bench. Tash visits Robbie at Brighton
& Hove Albion's training ground, where Steve Coppell reveals he'll be on
loan until the end of the season where they'll make Harchester
an offer for him to stay. Tash can't hide her
disappointment. Robbie asks Tash to forget Jamie and move here
with him, but she is reluctant about leaving Jeff and the
business. The drug test
results come back and Abi is shocked to learn that
Karl is the player testing positive. Fletch realises
Patrick spiked his drink, and has to tell Abi everything
- the bet, Doyle's affair with Mrs. Wallis, the other players Patrick has in
on the bet, but leaves out the photo of he kissing the woman. Abi thinks it's the lies of a cocaine addict. Phil goes
along with Patrick's "solution" that Fletch not play until the drug
is out of his system. Stuart undergoes ankle surgery, and is told he should
be playing again in six weeks. Patrick goes to
see Jacqui, where she confirms to him the baby was his. He tells her she has
a husband who loves her, and they make a losing team. Abi,
at the hospital for Stuart, catches sight of the two in an embrace, and
Patrick kissing Jacqui's head. She goes home and tells Fletch she knows what
he said was true. A guilty Fletch knows he has to come clean and shows Abi the photograph. Abi tells
Karl she forgives his mistake, and wants to help him expose Patrick,
suggesting he finds someone else in the team he knows wants to win as much as
he does. Notes: The Best: Tash’s visit to Robbie in Quotes: Curtis, when about to
give his urine sample: "You sure you're ready for this love... you might
want to sit down!" Abi: "Well Nikki didn't seem
too impressed so I'm sure I'll manage!". Tommo (to Jeff on
Hope): “No offence,
but I think it needs changing" Jeff: She's not an 'it', she's a she". Continuity: Patrick remarks they shouldn't be too surprised about Fletch testing
positive considering his history. Additional
Info: Doctor Bradley, last seen in 4.16, is still
working with the club as Bobby Armitt asks about he being informed of the drugs test. Soundtrack: Ms Dynamite: "Put Him Out", Feeder: "Love Pollution", Eddi Reader:
