The Dragons may not be going down…

…But Fletch is!

It wasn't like this on London’s Burning!

GS: Linzie Ferguson (Emma Gill)  Hope Parker (Olivia Sofie Newman)

After Harchester win against Fulham, Patrick keeps up the pressure on Jamie, by showing him photos of how he’s watching Tash and Hope in London. Doyle tells him Fletch is the one he has to stop from keeping the Dragons up. Nikki thinks she and Phil are all loved up, but they get a shock when Jacqui is settled back in at the club, wanting to start up HUTV again.

When injuring Fletch in training fails, Jamie gets the idea of drugging Fletch when he steals sleeping pills from Abi. When that fails, Jamie imagines breaking Fletch's foot with the fire extinguisher! When Jamie doesn't sleep, Abi informs Alan, who takes Jamie into his room for a talk. Jamie notices Alan's heart tablets on the side and swipes them. At breakfast, Jamie sprinkles the tablets over his own food, before making a scene that he wanted what Fletch has, until Fletch swaps plates with him.

Fletch makes it out onto the pitch against West Brom, but is feeling tired and sweating. Nikki knows Phil did not stay in his room at the Grange, and Jacqui plays to her they were together and it wasn't the first time. Going in with a win at full time, Fletch collapses in the tunnel. In hospital, Jamie stands over Fletch as he worries he has a heart condition, and knowing he can't be on the pitch for Everton, tells Jamie he has to be the one to save the club.

Jamie is racked with guilt, but Doyle reminds him there is only one game left and it will all be over. Jamie's form is bad in shooting practice, and Alan makes the decision to drop Jamie for the game. Jamie reacts badly, and is losing his grip on reality, thinking he is talking to Tash and Hope when they are not there. Jamie goes to Patrick and pleads with him to tell him what to do. Patrick presents him with a gun…

Notes:

The Best: Alan gives Fletch the decision of who will be captain in his absence, and his immediate choice of Marcel leads to Sabatier reminding Rothman his name is Marcel Sabatier, not "Frenchie".

Additional Info: To survive, Harchester must beat Everton, and Bolton Wanderers must lose at home to Middlesbrough.

What Was The Score?: Fletch and Curtis secure a 2-0 win against Fulham. It ends the same with West Brom where Marcel scores, and Curtis makes it a second.

Soundtrack: Faithless: "Insomnia",  Audioslave: "Cochise",  Avalanches: "Frontier Psychiatrist",  Star Sailor: "Way To Fall",  Aqualung: "Just For a Moment",  Archive: "Goodbye",  Sigur Ros: "1"
