Paris) Chief Inspector Kavanagh (John
Lyons) Inspector Ruth Goldfarb
(Karen Ascoe) David Jones (as

Foster (as herself) Jeremy Thompson (as himself) Hope Parker (Olivia Sofie Newman) As Harchester
trail a goal behind Everton, Patrick turns up at
the Wallis's, wanting to celebrate with Jacqui. Stuart's equaliser
doesn't worry him, as there's still the second half to go without Fletch. As the team
head in for half time, Jamie is loading the
gun. He enters the dressing room where Alan refuses to
play him, and Jamie reveals the gun announcing if he doesn't play, no-one
else does. The lads are made to barricade the doors, while a mobile is passed
to Clyde who is hiding
in the showers. Alan tells Jamie he will play him, and Abi offers to hold
his gun while he changes. The bell for the second half rings out, making
Jamie jump and the gun fires, with Abi falling to the ground. The gunshot
alerts the tunnel that something is wrong and an evacuation takes place. An
announcement is made that the game is to be called off, and the stands'
empty. In Jamie stands in
the tunnel, and is met by SO19 officers pointing guns, and seeing Tash isn't
there he raises his gun and shouts they lied to him. SO19 fires and Jamie
hits the ground. Tash desperately tries to get to Jamie but is prevented. As
SO19 enter the dressing room, a tied up Alan is having a heart attack. Abi is
stretchered out and the team are free, while the paramedics are working on
Alan, and Jamie is zipped up in a body bag. Notes: Last appearance of Jamie Parker (Jim Alexander) Best Known For: Having played DC Fox in "EastEnders" (2 eps, 1999), Ged

in DT's whole run, we see the end here of not only Jamie's character, but
also the well-crafted marriage of the Parkers. Developed over three years,
well done to Jim Alexander and Angela Saunders for making Tash and Jamie good
contenders to be thought of as DT's best couple. Quotes: Tash: Jamie? Jamie: Tash? Tash: I'm
here babe. And Hope's with dad. We're all here. The police brought us. [Jamie breaks down] Jay don't cry. It's
going to be OK. But we need you to stay strong just a bit longer so we can
get people out without anybody getting hurt. You want to come out now don't
you? You want to come home? Jamie: I
didn't think you'd ever let me, after what I've done. Tash: We
don't need to talk about that now. Jamie: Yes
we do. I need you to understand... when I told Doyle I'd take the money I was
still in Tash: Sweetheart
we need to concentrate on Abi. Can't we do this when you come out? Just the
two of us? Jamie: I
don't think I'm coming out. Tash: Yes
you are! Jamie: Fifty
grand a pop, for letting in the odd goal. Sounded like money for old rope. I
did it the first time, and I stood under those showers for two hours
afterwards. But I just couldn't wash away the feelings... 'cuz I'm a cheat.
Even if I sleep I was dreaming it, so I was better not to sleep. Holding my
daughter... thinking she could never be proud of me. I nearly killed my best
friend. Tash, can you tell Fletch it wasn't a heart attack it was me. I
begged him, to let me stop, but he wouldn't. And he said that I'd lose you
both only now I have. Oh I miss you so much. Tash: You
haven't lost us Jay. We're both here. And we want to see you. Hope and me.
Just please come out. Jamie: You'll
be there? Tash: I'm
here... but Jamie you need to put the gun down do you hear? You need to put
the gun down and open the door. Jamie: You'll
be there? You won't run away again? Tash: I'll
be there. Jamie: OK...
OK... I'll come out. Continuity: Marcel draws on his
own experience of killing a friend and how the guilt will never leave Jamie
if Abi dies. What Was The
Score?: Wayne Rooney takes Everton ahead, followed by an
equaliser from Stuart. When Harchester fail(!) to return from half time, the
game is called off and this result ultimately ruled null and void with a
replay ordered. Soundtrack: Coldplay: "Green Eyes", Sigur Ros: "1", Moricoco: "OK", Bliss: "Song For Olabi" |
