Patrick reminds Jamie that letting the odd goal in and not stopping the strikers isn't good enough, he's being paid to make Harchester lose otherwise his family's safety is not guaranteed. Jamie sets the house up with a security alarm system, making up an excuse that he is being stalked, and doesn't bank on Tash getting the police involved. When his phone records can be checked, Jamie has to claim the stalker has been sending him letters.

The team travel to Ewood Park to face Blackburn, while Ryan heads to the Parkers' to watch and where romance seems to be blossoming with Linzie. The final whistle goes and Harchester have drawn 1-1. Jamie gets to work sticking together a poison pen letter in his room at the Grange, but when getting it sent, he puts it in with Harchester United's mail, meaning it is franked with the club's logo, and Tash believes his stalker works at the club. All of Harchester's female employees come under suspicion. When Nikki is questioned, she thinks it is about Phil and Jacqui has set this up. It takes Phil to come out and admit he is the married man seeing Nikki.

Fletch organises a practice match with some autograph-seeking children in their Easter holidays to get Curtis’s form back, roping in Marcel to join them. They encourage Curtis to take a penalty and when it goes in Curtis is ready to go again. Jacqui knows Phil isn't in love with Nikki, and when she goads him about this Phil tries to throw her out, but they just end up making out. When Tash collects Jamie's things from the Grange, she finds the cut-up magazines used to make the letter.

Tash looks for Jamie at the club, and sees him in the stairwell with Patrick. Listening in, she hears Jamie say with three games left he can still send Harchester down for him. Tash goes outside where Doyle's heavy is waiting, and overhears him saying to Patrick that he'll take care of her.  Tash takes Jamie's car and drives off, so Jamie has to take Fletch's to get home. When he gets there, he finds Tash has left a note saying "I know everything".
