With the FA about to pass judgment on United's 6-point deduction, Patrick orders Jamie to throw the next game...and to make sure, he takes out an insurance policy which terrifies the player.

Harchester are appealing against their 6 point ban. Phil meets Jeff in the toilets telling him that when he admits the truth, Phil will make sure many clients are sent Natasha's way. Jeff is going to own up to what he did but he doesn't want to as it'll mean a ban from being an agent – forever. Jeff goes back to the lobby where he is met by Jamie and Tash. Jamie tries to persuade him that he doesn't have to do this but Jeff insists.

As Jamie leaves he is picked up in the car by Patrick. He tells him he better have persuaded Jeff not to admit to anything otherwise he'll have his work cut out in goal.

The team are training and once again, Curtis is performing in training. Karl once again asks why he can't do it in a real match. Alan stops training to tell the players the team for the FA Cup Semi's. Fletch is not happy when he is paired upfront with Curtis.

Upstairs, Nikki is receiving more flowers off Phil. Sandra asks her who they're off but she doesn't say anything. She tells Sandra that it's too awkward for anything to happen. Sandra tells her she should take the bull by the horns.

Phil is telling the FA the truth this time, about how he didn't know where the 2 million was going. When asked why he lied, he says that he panicked and didn't want the club to go down. He explains that when he was given the idea about the scouting operation it seemed a good way to get away with it. The FA ask who told him to make this up and he tells them Jeff Stein.

Jennifer has gone to see Alan and tells her that she wants her own place as Alan is now engaged. Curtis comes into the office thanking Alan for picking him and having some faith. Curtis goes downstairs and asks Jamie if he can take some extra shooting practice on him. Andy Ansah makes him.

Back at the hearing, it is Jeff's turn to take the stand. Jeff tells the hearing that he made up the idea for the scouting operation. They explain that that's all they need. Jeff though, carries on telling them that the team and its fans should not be punished for something he has done.

Curtis is practicing his shots with Jamie. He imagines he is taking a penalty for Harchester in the last minute of the FA Cup semi final. He scores it and without realizing begins cheering.

The team are upstairs in the players lounge. They are awaiting the result. When they hear that Harchester will only be deducted 3 points, the team go ecstatic, everyone except for Jamie that is. There is bad news for Jeff Stein though. He has been banned for life from being an agent.

The team make their way to the hotel, Nikki though tells Sandra to do her job as she is staying behind to wait for Phil. At the hotel, Fletch is partnered in the same room as Curtis but he asks to be with someone else. Curtis is gutted by this and cannot believe it. He tells him that he saw him with Patrick Doyle. Curtis explains that he was discussing a transfer deal but Fletch doesn't believe him.

Meanwhile, back at the club, Nikki is taking the bull by the horns. She has got undressed and is only wearing a coat. She goes to see Phil in his office and strips. Shocked, Phil pictures Jacqui. Phil tells her that he has to see the team and runs off. Nikki cannot believe it.

Jeff is back at The Grange and cannot believe he has been given a ban. Tash goes to see him telling him that it'll be alright. Jamie also says it'll be alright, and Jeff thanks them both.

Curtis is now sharing a room with Jamie. He asks him if he wonders if someone is on the take. Curtis opens up to him and tells him that he must be doing something wrong to not be able to score. He asks Jamie about superstitions. He explains that when he was younger he could only score when he scores with a woman. He realizes that he hasn't actually slept with a woman for awhile so he decides that is what he must do.

Phil who has gone to see the boys, is welcomed with open arms. As he is talking to them, Patrick Doyle comes out the lift. Phil reacts by smacking him in the face and then repeatedly in the back. Stuart and Jamie react to stop him but Fletch gets in the way so Phil can lay a few more punches on him.

Jennifer goes up to the club office to see Nikki there, still working. She notices she's been crying and asks what's up but Nikki tells her she's fine. As Jennifer leaves, Nikki puts her notice inside an envelope.

Nikki goes to the hotel and leaves the letter at reception for Phil. As she is doing this she bumps into Curtis who wants a favour. They go up to his room. He asks her if she can sleep with him but she tells him no and storms out. Curtis is now even more gutted now than before.

Meanwhile, Jamie goes to see Patrick. He tells him that he wants out as it's not worth his while. He explains that when he took the bet up he had nothing, but now, he can get himself a new contract, he's got his family back and has plenty of money. Patrick tells him that he can't back out. Jamie asks if Patrick is threatening him and tells him he can do what he wants. He then leaves the room.

It's the next day and the team are getting on the coach. Jamie is a lot brighter and full of himself now knowing he is not part of the bet. Phil asks where Nikki is and then Sandra remembers the letter and gives it to him. When he realizes it is a letter of resignation he goes off, leaving the team, to look for Nikki.

The game is soon to be played and it is Harchester v Chelsea, being held at White Hart Lane. Patrick is with the pundits up in the stadium for the match. He is called by a man telling him that they are outside Jamie's house. Patrick tells him he'll tell the man when to make a move. Meanwhile, Linzie is looking after Hope inside.

The team are in the dressing room and Alan is giving his team talk. He tells them to all be confident and prepare mentally. Curtis imagines taking a penalty once again, but this time he misses. His confidence is rocked. The bell rings and the players go out onto the pitch.

The man rings the doorbell at Jamie's and Linzie opens the door. He asks if she is Natasha's nanny and she says she is. He explains that he has been sent by Jamie to pick them up and take them to the game. Linzie tells him that Tash had told them to watch it at home, but the man says there has been a change of plan. When Linzie says she'll ring Tash to check it's all okay, the man tells her how it's supposed to be a surprise. The nanny believes him and gets in the car.

Phil who is back at the club rings Nikki on her mobile telling her to come to the pitch as he is out there really embarrassing himself. She goes onto the pitch to see Phil completely naked. They joke together and go back inside.

Chelsea are on top in the match, but it's still 0-0 thanks to a brilliant display by Jamie Parker. Harchester get a rare attack, and Fletcher is brought down in the area for a penalty. Karl steps up to take it but Curtis takes the ball saying he wants to. Curtis takes it, steps up and it is saved by Cudicini. He cannot believe it and sinks to his knees. Curtis is substituted for Marcel Sabatier. Alexander walks off the pitch nearly in tears.

Phil has a word with Nikki telling her that Jacqui did the same thing as her and he freaked out when she did it. He tells her that he really likes her and that he'd like her to take back her resignation. They hug and everything is forgotten. Phil takes her round to his house as it is nearly half time.

At half time, Patrick has a go at Curtis saying that he doesn't believe he can ever be the player he was and that he isn't up to standards anymore. Curtis hears all this on the TV and as the second half starts, he goes up to see him in the studio. He tells Patrick to take back what he said but he won't. Patrick tells him that he has lost his form and then security take Alexander away.

Back to the game, and Chelsea are still dominating. Jamie Parker is putting in a world class display and is saving everything. Harchester have another rare attack and Connelly gets the ball and manages to put it away.

Patrick's man, the nanny and Hope arrive at the club and they wait in the car outside the stadium. The man asks if he can have ago with Hope and holds her for awhile.

Chelsea are still attacking, with the game nearing an end, but Jamie is still putting in a stunning display saving shot after shot after shot. The whistle blows and the match is over. Harchester are in the FA cup final!

Phil and Nikki who are celebrating begin kissing. Back at White Hart Lane, Jamie receives man of the match. As the team are celebrating, Patrick tells Jamie to go to the car park before it's too late. The other players are still celebrating, everyone except Curtis. Fletcher goes up to him and says he's sorry and it's not him taking bribes. He tells him that no one would have put themselves taking a penalty if they were going to miss. Curtis begins crying and Fletch consoles him.

Tash receives a text telling her to also go to the car park, it says it's off Jamie but it has not been sent from Jamie's phone.

Jamie gets to the car park to see the man holding Hope, the man briefly shows Jamie a gun in his suit. He tells Jamie to look after her. Tash arrives and asks what's going on. The man explains that it would be a good idea for them all to meet each other.

Phil and Nikki are still kissing on the sofa when the most unexpected person walks in, Jacqui Wallis.
