DT Locations: White Hart Lane

White Hart Lane, the home ground of Tottenham Hotspur until 2017, in North London, featured in 1 episode of DT in Season 1 in April 1998.

For Harchester's away fixture to Spurs in the 1997-98 season, a film crew followed Ian Coates and the team, firstly at their local hotel The Grange and the Addison Road training ground, before accompanying them to White Hart Lane where they filmed Coates's formation in the dressing room. In the first half, Dean Hocknell has some good shots, while a pass from Greaves to Stiles onto Dean Sturridge sees the former Derby County striker score on his debut. In the second half, with crosses from Armstrong and Vega, David Ginola takes the score to 1-1, the final score after 2 minutes of stoppage time.

Des, Zoe, Sean and Natalie attend the game, following which Dean, off out with the lads, gives Sean money to take Natalie out in his absence, leading to the growing of Sean's feelings for his brother's fiancée.

At half time, Frank finds a struggling Fletch sitting alone in the empty dressing room, depressed at being unable to play because of his drugs ban, and drills it into him he should be out there backing the lads. Fletch is carrying coke and is tempted again.

The match takes place under Christian Gross's time as manager, as does Spurs's away fixture to Addison Road the following season, a 3-0 loss (2.1). George Graham (Oct 1998 - Mar 2001) is in charge for their FA Cup Fifth Round clash, losing 1-0 (2.49). And for their first away fixture to Harchester's Dragon's Lair, the final game of the 1999-00 season, where the Dragons are in a relegation battle with Bradford, for a 3-2 win against Spurs (goals from Armstrong and Ginola) (3.62). We next see Tottenham at the Lair under Glenn Hoddle (Apr 2001 - Sep 2003) in the 2002-03 season for a 1-1 draw, goal scored by Matthew Etherington (6.8 About Last Night). David Pleat (Sep 2003 - Jun 2004) oversees a 2-2 draw (both goals from Robbie Keane) (7.4 Chinese Takeaway). The remainder of their away visits to Harchester are under Martin Jol (Nov 2004 - Oct 2007) with the infamous abandoned match (9.22 Two Wrongs), and a 1-0 loss the following season (10.8 Picture Perfect).

In buying and selling, the only business done between the two clubs is Midfielder Jodie Carter, bought from Tottenham Hotspur and playing for HUFC in the 2005-06 season.
