Photographer, Cindi FHM shoot Cindi Gavin (and Thierry) Liam Katy, Jason |
GS: Phil (Dominic Doughty) Deano (Aston Kelly) Tony Franks (Neal Barry) Photographer (Rachel Sanders) The lads poke fun at Gavin and Cindi as they are featured in a Sky Sports report on Gavin's career and family life. Amy hands Jason a cheque for his first month’s wages as a pro, and he is stunned by the amount. As Tony discusses the various sponsorship deals he has lined up for Gavin, Cindi tasks him to help her get started with a career of her own. Katy is concerned that Jason's attitude to his new-found fortune is going to affect his friendship with Deano. Tony informs Cindi he has found the perfect prospect for her, as FHM are doing a feature on Footballer’s Christmas', only Gavin has to OK it as the pictures could be risky. Katy gets home to find a 50" screen television being carried into she and Jason's flat, and embarrassed by his spending of money faster than he gets it, warns she will leave unless he sends it back. Jason tells the deliveryman to take it up, prompting Katy to storm off. As Harchester play Tottenham at the Lair, Cindi is at her photoshoot, dressed in sexy Santa stockings and posing with a Christmas spread. Tony clicks that Cindi hasn't told Gavin about what she's doing, and worries this could jeopardise his future of representing him when he finds out. Gavin takes Harchester up 1-0 against Spurs. Jason has never known Katy to not attend a game, and returns to the flat to find she has packed her clothes. Gavin is not impressed when Cindi shares a snap of her shoot, and she insists she doesn't want to be a With Gavin pressuring Tony to get the shoot pulled from FHM, Cindi asks him whether he cares about what her reputation will be like after this. Cindi realises that Gavin hasn't gotten over what happened between she and Ryan, and tells him as he has no trust in her they should get him a cardboard cut-out wife instead. Jason leaves the training ground to find Katy waiting for him, and she tells him she'll only come back if Jason promises to act wisely with the cash. The two return to the flat to find their door ajar, and they go in to discover everything of any value has been taken (including the 50" screen of course). Gavin confides in Liam that he is worried about Cindi having her career, and asks how he felt in regards to Chloe. Liam says he was proud she had her own career when he met her, but even that didn't stop her going off with someone else. When Gavin goes to show Liam the Polaroid of Cindi in the Christmas gear, he is horrified to discover it not in his pocket. He goes outside and finds two youth teamers getting an eyeful of the snap. Gavin assumes they would have thought the picture a laugh, but the boys are quite complimentary of Gavin's amazing wife. Following the burglary, and after two young boys enter the flat and sheepishly ask Jason for his autograph, Katy is worried about she and Jason's security, and decides something has to give now he is a Premiership player. Katy goes to Jimmy, who remembers her from her pestering of him the week he arrived. Katy explains Jason is being approached daily now, and his team mates don't have to endure it as they live behind gated communities. Jimmy smiles, taking a liking to Katy, and tells her he'll see what he can do. By the day the magazine is printed, Tyson already has a copy, and shows the lads Cindi's spread. Gavin listens in from the showers and the lads are also impressed, remaining respectful of Gavin’s wife. Gavin apologises to Cindi and she informs him she did the shoot to help his profile just as much as hers, as they're a team. After the Arsenal match, Phil helps Jason and Katy move the last of their things into their new home at the Barrons. Notes: Continuity: Cindi’s sleeping with Ryan from 9.10 ‘Tis The Season To Be Jolly is brought up again. Additional Info: Alongside Jason, Bradley Summers has also moved up from the reserves to the first team. What Was The Score?: Spurs try and equalise Gavin’s goal with a header from Berbatov, which is saved by O'Mare, and the game ends with Harchester winning 1-0. Arsenal game and score is not seen, though we know Harchester would have either won or drawn.
