The first, in November 1997, sees Harchester United arrive for their away fixture with Blackburn Rovers at their home ground Ewood Park. Des Baker travels to the game, but on the way has a run of bad luck, dropping his wallet leaving him stranded and without a ticket, but encounters two Guardian Angels in Rovers fans Shirley and Tanya who let him sit with them providing he hides his HUFC gear!

Chris Sutton's goal wins the game 1-0 to Blackburn, and learning Des's wallet has been handed into the train station's lost property, the girls take him for a celebratory drink, although married man Des has to turn down their offer of a secret threesome.

At the end of the season, Blackburn Rovers 1-0 win over Barnsley saw Harchester hold on to their place in the Premier League after a 1-1 draw with Chelsea.

The club is relegated to the First Division at the end of 1998-99, but re-enters the Premier League for the 2001-02 season, where they remain for the rest of DT's run. Ewood Park makes its second appearance, for Harchester's away fixture in April 2003 where goals from Marcel Sabatier and Andy Cole leave the score 1-1. Harchester's home fixture, for the 4th Round FA Cup tie came earlier in the season (6.16 The Dark Side) where a Stuart Naysmith goal wins the game 1-0.

Both of Ewood Park's appearances take place under the reigns of Roy Hodgson, BR manager from June 1997 - November 1998 and Graeme Souness, manager from March 2000 - September 2004.

A home fixture at The Dragon's Lair in the 2003-04 season sees Harchester beat Blackburn 1-0 with a goal from Luke Davenport (7.10 Achilles Heel). While Harchester's assistant manager in 2006-07, Steve Kramer, was part of the Rovers' 94-95 Premier League winning side.

Transfers to Harchester from Blackburn Rovers included First Team Goalkeeper Paul Hodson in the summer of 1998, and Defender Michael Dillon a year later. Michael played one season for Rovers in 1998-99 until their relegation, where he moved to FA Cup holders HUFC for four million pounds.
