Rumble In The Jungle

In an effort to get the team to work together, Stuart takes the lads out for a paintballing session. Meanwhile, Tara inspires more rivalry than teamwork and the day ends with injuries.

Out on the training pitch, Tara is circling Ryan calling his name, much to the pleasure of Ryan himself. Suddenly he is brought back down to earth by his Dad screaming in his ear. Tara is on the other side of the pitch setting up her video camera. The boys mock him telling him he has no chance but he disagrees. Tara, filming TV, explains how Harchester have only got one point from the last 3 home games, and how young Ryan Naysmith continues to impress. Meanwhile, Jeff goes to see an 'ill' Patrick, who is not actually ill. Patrick tells Jeff that one more loss will make Phil Wallis sell up due to the pressure. Back at the training pitch, Fletch is winding up Marcel, the whole thing turns into a brawl between the two. Robbie & Ryan then begin fighting and Fletch & Marcel start up again.

At the Dragons Lair, Jeff goes to see Phil, trying to hint that he has to win the next game or he will have to resign. Down in the changing rooms, Marcel is once again not happy - Complaining about the temperature of the showers. Fletch makes a remark which sparks up another whole argument. Phil goes to see Stuart trying to tell him who to play in the team but to no prevail. Tash once again has one thing on her mind - Robbie. He goes to see Jeff and tells him that she is worried because he hasn't been himself and that she cannot get him any sponsorship as he doesn't have a place in the team. Back at the offices Ryan tries to ask
Tara out but bottles it. He has another shot at it but is interrupted. Stuart is holding an emergency team talk and tells everyone they should get everything off their chest to clear the air. Marcel explains how he wasn't happy with the showers, and how the grass wasn't cut and how last week his kit went missing, once again Fletch takes the mic. This just makes the whole situation worse. Everyone begins arguing until Robbie makes a stand and explains that least they can play, and that Fletch's misses is stupid for not letting him. This infuriates Fletch, he then explains how Ryan only plays because Stuart is his Dad, he finishes off by explaining how he once a transfer request. Phil asks Stuart if he is up to the job because of today’s happenings and he plays the whole situation down. He says that the lads need something fun to get them all on friendly terms again. Paintball is chosen.

Downstairs, Tash asks Karl if he can keep an eye and look after Robbie. He goes and finds Robbie at The Grange, and invites him to play cards with the boys later. Marcel is also invited. At Fletcher’s Curtis asks Ryan if he asked out
Tara yet. He explains how he couldn't get it out and Curtis reconciles him. He tells Ryan he should text her. Tara receives a text off a random number. The text reads 'Your beauty inspires me to play beautifully'. Straight away Tara thinks it is off Marcel. Tara texts Ryan back and just has he is about to return the compliment his battery dies. He asks to use Curtis' but he turns him down. When Curtis isn't looking Ryan switches the batteries.

Meanwhile, back at The Lair, Phil is hard at work in his office, still trying to get hold of Jacqui. The boys are now all at Fletch's playing cards. Fletch doesn't put his cards down and it's just him and Robbie left. Robbie puts his cards down and Fletch, without showing his cards says that he has lost. Being suspicious Robbie asks Fletch what he had. He finds out that Fletch had pretended to lose to try and make Robbie feel better. He has none of it and storms out. As Curtis leaves he see's the two phones and picks up the one with the battery ; Ryan's phone. Ryan had forgotten to switch the batteries back over.

The next day, when all the boys are getting changed for training. Fletch see's Robbie with a transfer request letter. Stuart comes in and explains training is cancelled and that they are all going paintballing. While the boys are getting ready to leave, Curtis receives a text reading 'Guess who's coming with you? Don't go without me, xx'. Curtis straight away realises who it is. Phil is trying his hardest to get the place up to scratch to impress Marcel. He orders the grass to be cut and tries to get a plumber in, but Nikki cannot get hold of anyone. The teams are chosen for the paintballing and they both separate. Marcel tells Fletch that some should defend while others should attack. Marcel disagrees; he is left alone to do what he likes. On the other team, Stuart organises where people should go, to the displeasure of his son Ryan. Back with Fletch and the yellow team, they are inches away from the blue flag. They are about to run for it when they see
Tara filming. They decide to make the whole thing look good in front of camera. Meanwhile though, the blue team are hiding in the bushes, using Tara as the bate to attract Fletch, Curtis and Robbie. The yellow team charge out and out pops the blue team, guns blazing. The three amigos scarper. Back at the club, Tash is up at the club looking for Robbie where she see's his transfer request. Nikki takes it away though much to the disappointment of Tash. Tara decides to text Marcel during the fight, Curtis is hiding with Fletch and Marcel, when Curtis' phone goes off. The blue team begins to look for the 3 as they have heard the phone. Curtis stands up and surrenders himself for the good of the team. They give him a few shots, and then Curtis walks off, Marcel and Fletch then escape running the other direction.

Meanwhile, Tash is in Patrick's office looking for the transfer request letter from Robbie. She finds it and rips it up. Curtis goes to see
Tara, making a move on her, Tara, not knowing why he is doing this kicks him in the groin and runs off. Ryan has seen all of this going on and is outraged as Curtis knew that Ryan liked her. Back at the club, Phil Wallis is up in the changing room showers fixing the problem. Marcel and Fletch are inches away from the flag when Stuart tells them both to stay where they are. To their shock, Curtis is charging through the woods running for his life, Ryan follows screaming at him, chasing him. They all decide to follow Ryan. They see him holding Curtis at gunpoint literally. Curtis is on the floor and Ryan has the gun pointed at Curtis' face. They all end up pointing guns at each other and shooting at close range. Fletch trips backwards and injures his back while Curtis is on pain on the floor.

It's the next day now, and Harchester are playing
Southampton at home. Fletch, Walsh, Grant and Sullivan are all injured from the recent paintballing and cannot play. Alexander is okay though and plays upfront with Ryan Naysmith. The game starts and Fletch is at the bar with Robbie trying to find out why he is handing in a transfer request. Karl finds out that a married woman is the reason he is leaving Harchester. He won't tell Fletch who the woman is though. Southampton in the game have been on top and during the first half, Southampton break away and score a lovely goal. Beattie makes it two from a free kick, it goes from bad to worse for Harchester. Fletch, without knowing the woman is Tash, explains that he should go for the woman if the husband (Jamie) does not make her happy and is never around. The second half begins and it's all Southampton, they just cannot put their chances away. Eventually Chris Marsden makes it 3-0. Patrick Doyle is delighted. Beattie ends up making the game 4-0. Harchester are booed off the pitch and the Harchester fans leave early. After the match, in the dressing room the whole team is arguing. Stuart tells everyone to shut up and grow up. Phil has gone down to tell the boys he is going to leave Harchester - But after hearing Stuart's brilliant team talk after the game, he decides to stay, much to the annoyance of Patrick Doyle.
