Paul Mari wrote 2 episodes of DT in Season 3. He has a long career as both a writer and an actor. Paul began in acting in the 80's, with notable credits "Nutcracker" (1982), Slimey Keith in "Prospects" (1 ep, 1986), regular Dr. Andrew Putter in "Rude Health" (14 eps, 1987-88), and Two Mouths in crime flick "Tank Malling" (1989). Into the 90's with "One Foot in the Grave" (1 ep, 1990), "Sean's Show" (2 eps, 1992), "Teenage Health Freak" (3 eps, 1993), "Birds of a Feather" (2 eps, 1989 & 1994), "EastEnders" (1 ep, 1998) and "Inspector Morse" (1 ep, 1998). While the new Millennium has seen him in "A Touch of Frost" and classic "Mean Machine" (both 2001) and Terry Brown in "The Story of Tracy Beaker" (3 eps, 2002). In writing, his credits include singular episodes of "Boon" (1991), "Casualty" (2009) and "Holby City" (2010), while he wrote 3 episodes of "Doctors" (2000 & 2010), a five-year stint writing for "EastEnders" (18 eps, 2009-14) and 9 episodes of the English adaptation script of "Ronja, the Robber's Daughter" (2014-15). |
