The brains of the pair's gold digging schemes, Donna and pal Maria Kitson were on the lookout to make as much money as they could by snaring and selling stories on rich footballers. They disappointingly land first team newcomers Campbell Hooper and Danny Rawsthorne, the latter Donna drugs when he gets in the way of their partying plans. Maria becomes involved with the slightly more (only just) prominent Eddie Moliano, and Donna sets her straight that she will get them the money to go to Australia because she owes her, when Maria starts to stray from her.
