Following on from documentaries "The Making of Moll Flanders" and "From the Beatles to Oasis: Forty Years of Granada Pop" (both 1996), he has directed on many of the main soaps and continuing dramas. These have included "Hollyoaks" (9 episodes, 1997), "Emmerdale" (6 eps, 1999), "Coronation Street" (4 eps, 1999) and 68 episodes of "Doctors" over a seven-year period (2000-07).
